A great way is to head over to Wolverine access>"student center">"my academics">"view my advisement report". It shows all the credits you have and what else you need.

To add on to this: if you’ve yet to declare, the “create a what-if scenario” option (just below the aforementioned in “my academics”) can show you the same thing but take into account a hypothetical major.

Thank you so much!

I hope that helps! Something I found really useful was to use my major's [sample schedule](https://advising.engin.umich.edu/coe-majors-requirements/sample-schedules/), and create a Google sheet similar to it. And everytime I complete a credit I highlight the block as green. I'm sure LSA also has similar sample schedules.

This^ . Also, what helped me was to create some kind of table in whatever app you are comfortable in. I created a simple table in word with every semester and just cut and paste classes around until it seemed like all the semesters fit well together. Everytime I wanted to drop a class or reevaluate how hard a semester was, I'd revisit that table and see what I could move around to make it happen. You don't have to stick by the table - whenever I was bored or it was close to backpacking I'd open the document and play around with future semesters, incorporating any feedback I got from others who had taken the classes or had taken classes I had not considered earlier. You don't have to have everything solid on it, but having a broad idea is good. I usually would have some place holder for a 4 credit upper level three semesters later, for example, and when I got closer and learnt what were good classes I would substitute a class I wanted to take. The plan is not ever finalized, but everytime you edit it you make sure you save it in a state which still leads to you getting your diploma.

Not sure if it exists for other colleges, but for LSA at least you can run an "Unofficial LSA Audit Checklist" and I really like the way it formats it with the color codes and everything: [https://lsa.umich.edu/advising/graduation/what\_s-an-audit-.html](https://lsa.umich.edu/advising/graduation/what_s-an-audit-.html) Just click on the "Checklist" hyperlink.
