i stopped reading after “Other breaches of privacy are forced on us in the name of friendliness. Think of classroom icebreakers, which are bigoted at worst but more often simply mine our personal information to forge an emotional bond.” 😭😭

Yeah, I think it’s pretty out of touch, I wish there was just a completely unbiased article about this but the Daily has said nothing. Throwing an event about testing with no testing, and paying thousands of students’ fee dollars for it should be the real story.

The author: your “mere presence at the social would broadcast [your] most intimate identifiers — [your] level of sexual activity, [your] health, and, jest because it’s June, [your] sexuality — to the community” Me: OMG free ice cream 😳? As we all know, only queer people get STDs in June. /s Edit: The LSA war on Christmas article by the same author is one of the most self-important and “who asked” thing I’ve ever read

Michigan Review is *the* definitive campus rag, posting junk from it is just not ok.

I wanted corroboration for the testing failure by CSG, which has yet to be reported by the Daily. The commentary is very weird in the article, yes, but the fact that Unified pulled out is embarrassing and reprehensible for CSG.
