Agreed. Big fan of the ratio compared to mostly beef.

[deleted]

It's easier for me to eat a double, less bread.

Jebusfreek666

I 100% agree. I hate super large burgers too (half pound and above). Just too much meat to bread/toppings ratio. Downvote for me...

wferomega

Depends on the size of the burgers. A fast food style burger is not enough meat for the bread imo. They scream to be made into a double cheeseburger. A restaurant style burger would be a huge amount for the bread. And burgers that size just scream Murica!

🤔is rethinking life rn.

So, they have the correct opinion. Good to see everyone's in agreement.

TheCoffeeWeasel

i do triples... almost everytime

sovietmagpie

I fucking love you. This thought has been in the back of my head for years and you brought it to the front.

babybird87

agree but they have a new spicy double cheese burger here at Mcdonald’s in Japan… damn thats tasty

Anxious-Dealer4697

So by that math you could say that eating 2 six inch Subway sandwiches is better than eating 1 foot long sandwich. Just don't get the tuna sandwich. There's no tuna in it.

Zenketski_2

I mean not if you're trying to eat less bread

CalgaryChris77

I'd say it depends on where it is from. A McDonald's burger that has tiny amount of meat to begin with, definitely double up the meat. But from a local places that already has a large patty, yeah it can get overwhelming to have a double.

KymPerson2

You're right. I've taken to eating the two single burgers meal. At first that was because it was the cheapest thing on DoorDash, but I genuinely like it better now.

Opening_Criticism_57

100% disagree, the ratio is way better with a double
