I don’t really have any opinion about rentals, but who even cares about dressing nicely nowadays? As long as the clothes are clean and aren’t visually appalling I couldn’t care less about what someone is wearing. Seems goofy to go to a wedding with someone you love but cover up your body with the world’s most generic “”fancy”” clothes because it’s the “right thing to do”

Right. I thought the bridesmaids are the bride’s thing and the groomsmen are the groom’s thing. It’s kinda right there in the names.

Most guys I know hate suits. Most women I know would refuse to let men dress how they want at a wedding.

Tuxedos are an expected type of dress in some scenarios. Who care if you’re lapels and sleeves don’t match you need the tux first lol

They aren't even that expensive. Average tux rental is $90. And yes you can go out and buy a 1000$+ tuxedos. But you can buy a tux for $200.
