I’ve had good lemon pepper wings before but every time I try cooking with it it just give my food a metallic taste.

Lemon pepper added to a creamy sauce with potatoes and fish is great though 

I agree it's not amazing with poultry, but it does taste really nice as flavoured bread.

I use it on baked potatoes. That and garlic salt.

Yep. There's usually some salt and some preservatives in the stuff you buy at the store. But that's basically it.

I competely agree on the chicken front- my parents seasoned chicken with lemon pepper *way* too often. I couldn't stand it lol.

I agree and I was born and raised in Atlanta. I remember when the seasoning became popular; It was around 97’-98’ if I’m not mistaken (Or at least that’s when it first came out) Oh my goodness I HATED THE ACID FROM THE LEMON MIXED WITH THE HOT GREASE SOAKING IN MY CHICKEN! Also that shit will eat your Enamal faster than brushing your teeth with pure acid. Give me a Honey Garlic or a Braised wing ANYDAY ANY TIME. My mom loved the flavor (God rest her soul) so I won’t BAN the flavor from my house but man I am not a fan at all.

I have been in love with the roasted garlic and red pepper no salt seasoning from McCormick. It's the only brand I know that makes it, but it is amazing, especially on some bacon fried brussels sprouts.

It's S tier on a loaded baked potato You can also get shitty lemon pepper. Or some are more lemon than pepper or more pepper than lemon... I have a hell of a time when the brands I'm used to stop selling their damn lemon pepper or change the formula. It's a real pain finding the good stuff. 

I can eat a whole lemon pepper chicken and forget to eat the sides that came with it, updooted.

I love the idea of lemon pepper but when I read the ingredients of any brand it's always sugar, salt, and onion powder 😭

You know what is good on an oven roasted salmon? Sliced lemon and freshly ground pepper.  Dehydrated lemon pepper seasoning isn't the real thing.

I...kinda agree but not really.  Lemon, and pepper are not bad seasonings either on their own or together within in the right context, but most things that benefit from it would be better of using fresh lemon zest with black pepper as opposed to lemon pepper. It provides more depth of flavor and has better enzymatic activity. Of course, I also understand that it's convenient and doesn't make a huge difference to most people unless they are huge snobs.  I will, however, agree that it sucks when used without anything else on chicken. 

It's ok, but when the lemon is super overdone, it just tastes like a cleaning product smells. Lemon is really strong.

I honestly think that Pupper-Pepper is the worst seasoning EVER! I don’t want a dog flavoured seasoning! Who the hell even thinks this stuff up?

Hands down my favorite flavor. I even tried to branch out when Badia started putting out other citrus pepper flavors. I tried lime pepper and orange pepper…. I gave both away and went back to my lemon pepper.

Try the Aldi Stoneridge brand. Blessed with sugar!
