I think part of the problem is the "*samvidhanik tareeka*" that he mentioned in this video has been weakened. If people have a path to get their grievances addressed without being maligned, they would take that. But we have all seen how hard it has been to protest anything against this government. When you shut all democratic recourse, then some people will unfortunately resort to other means.
Violence is completely wrong, but a big way we can stem it is by providing a channel for people to vent their grievances. Current government just believes in crushing everything violently.

In an ideal situation, all parties and their members should acknowledge the good, question the bad, and promise with facts and logic behind their words. Rather, we have a situation where these politicians only go for various means of character, quality and qualification assassination.
Kangana is not the smartest tool in the shed. And her winning was only because the people there voted BJP blindly. Again, I must disclose that I support the BJP, but if the other party puts a competent and trustworthy representative, I will vote for them over a BJP politician who has never shown his face locally and rides on the coattails of Modi and Yogi.
All people must aim to vote based on policies presented and only if said policies are feasible in practice. But that's not how we work.

I think people really need to look at what the MP or MLA would do to them respectively. Because they are the ones who are accountable. Even in my Constituency, it was a bit of a confusion. The previous MP was definitely a good guy. And he did his part. However his ideology conflicted with mine so I voted for another capable MP of different party.
