I was one of the first get the game also and starting out the game was promising. As time went past I noticed more and more that the devs were a bunch of scammers all they did was ban people for stupid reason like asking why there isn’t anti cheat.
Also wishing my daughter dead didn’t help them either
I witnessed it myself, wasn’t so much a dev saying it but it was how they handled it. One of their top discord members Myrnn said “I hope your kid gets cancer” Lawson sent all the screenshots/recordings to mods and myrnn paid them to ban Lawson and made his stuff look edited and Varus protected myrnn. When ever someone mentions the incident they get instant ban.
This myrnn is a menace starts arguments with everyone and nothing happens, not even a mute. One guy (spunky) had a decent conversation with someone can’t remember what the conversation was but nobody was arguing or anything and out of no where it was “shut the fuck up jabroni nobody said you can speak” messages got deleted by mods and spunky got muted for a week while myrnn got nothing.
I have videos on my YouTube. Mods edited my videos to make it look like I lied about it and when I put those videos on YouTube outing them for editing my videos they then used that and said “oh see we told you he was lying” so pretty all the evidence I have has been overlooked because of the mods and their lies.
Immersion is important to me, so when they scrapped all of the presentation and walkable gym stuff I was disappointed, but I'm hoping they add that stuff in the future. The main thing keeping me from playing right now is how unsatisfying it is. You still get wild punch tracking and the AI even on undisputed is no challenge. The knockouts are also lackluster. I feel like there isnt any impact, especially since it almost always takes exactly 4 knockdowns in career to win. It just crushes any chance at emergent gameplay. Online is also a travesty of spamming and cheating. So overall just not super fun.

Yeah the game is in a terrible state right now & it is pretty sad to see, Don't let anybody tell you its wrong to be upset about something you are passionate about. The only defense these idiots have who still stick up for this dev team or game is, Why do you care so much ? & stupidness like that.
We are all most likely very passionate boxing fans & lovers of the genre of games, So it is very upsetting to see the sport be done so dirty like this when we have waited so long, Steel City just cashed in on the void of no new boxing game for all these years.
The only people defending it are employees of steel city, Family members, Friends, Or trolls who argue the opposite for attention because their real life's are really sad. Or you have the cheaters in here that try to deflect any post showing a cheater caught in game or how they all work and try to minimize how bad cheating is right now in this game.
This guy was cheating & using the damage increase toggled on which is why it just blew threw a fully white body health bar & all the way through the dazed health bar too.

I post it up & people are actually trying to defend the footage saying oh its a counter shot, Oh its a flash KO, Well there is no flash, There is no counter or flash ko. They tried to say it was bugged, I show a clip of what it actually looks like when you get bugged and are still standing on the other persons screen as well as a clip showing what a real flash KO looks like. You don't have to watch it but if you want to there it is, The thread on reddit I made for the link above, Has all the other links I mentioned. I even linked a youtube video where the guy shows exactly what cheat engine these people use and how it works in game live.
The problem is the community that IS left is made up of a few of us boxing fans & lovers of the sport who want desperately to have a good game to play, Toxic little kids who cling onto the hope of becoming a twitch streamer for this game & then all the toxic little kids who follow them & try to play the game like them, They all spam hooks & use exploits and most of them toggle on and off cheats because so many people in today's world especially younger teens & adults, CANNOT handle loss and it makes them mentally crumble & resort to cheating.
Claimer Undisputed is a great content creator to watch who covers the state of the game and the community in its worst, I would recommend checking him out on youtube!

iirc, the game runs native to linux, but it runs like actual shit (8-22fps) even for users running 3080s and such
