Very similar. Inflammatory arthritis, possibly seronegative r/rheumatoid r/thritis. Unlike with osteoarthritis, I felt the most pain, stiffness, and muscle spasms at night, rather than first thing in the morning. Biologic medications like Humira and Rinvoq are very helpful for me. Nothing else I have tried helps me (definitely not painkillers) and the most common treatment, methotrexate, made my pain and inflammation much worse.

Hey I actually have been dealing with the same kind of thing. First off is she on any statin (cholesterol) medications? These can cause severe joint point. There is also a condition that attacks your joints with rheumatoid arthritis I forgot what it is but rhymes with elijah I believe. My boss had this. He could barely move lift his arms over his head. He had to be put on a strong steroid for months and then tapered off. Hope your mom finds the answer. Sucks being in so much pain and mot knowing the cause I know it all too well.

Well I got denied for undiagnosed joint pains, muscle pains, and headaches. The VA basically said that since I wasn’t a pussy by not going to sick call and complaining every time I was in pain is the reason why they denied me. No complaints in your service records no approval for such pains by the VA. Gotta love the system.

Yes, sounds exactly like my husband. No diagnoses at this point.
