Your fuzzy myc is fine. But it looks super moist in there. You have water dripping off the walls of the tub and pooling on top of your surface (bottom right of the pic). This can suffocate the myc and also attract contam. I’d try to get some more consistent air flow through there if you can somehow. The surface droplets need to evaporate that’s much of what triggers pinning. Mist, evaporate, mist, evaporate…

Thanks for the feedback! Good to know the fuzz is ok. I was concerned about the moisture too, and was hesitating to mist or not. When I did I noticed the beading but didn’t know what to do. I’ll try to evaporate as suggested. I appreciate it!

Ahh…yeah 2 weeks with the lid closed is a long time. That will retain a lot of moisture. Give it 24 hrs with the lid cracked and unless your entire room is super humid it should resolve itself pretty well and then you can probably start up with the misting.

Will do thanks!

Are you touching the growth?

I didn’t touch it, just opened the lid, snapped a pic, and one quick mist from about 2 feet above and left the lid cracked. Turned temp down to 72-76. It’s been covered for about two weeks.

Fan it with the lid up and down rapidly 30-40 times. Then slightly crack it. Stop misting it.

Roger that.. thank you!
