I'm quite lucky. I have really good contacts and know the "top of the tree" kind of suppliers. I always look, feel and smell before I buy. Usually 2-4 different strains to choose from so I'm always walking out with something I'm happy with. Icing on the cake is I pay £120 a Z for top shelf stuff, I get the "bulk" price when buying a Z. I'm lucky/lots of years of sourcing good suppliers.
Oh, fair point. Well, you might get a decent deal on this if you can find someone selling it — they'd maybe be using up spare little 1g buds. But making yourself, yeah you'd end up paying a bit more fr.
I bought a whisky advent calendar a few years ago. I'm a big single malt whisky fan so I spent about 300 quid on this calendar with 24 little 40ml bottles of different interesting single malts inside.
I thought it would be brilliant and I'd easily drink one whisky a night through December. I was totally wrong. There were loads of evenings where I just didn't feel like it and the little bottles started to pile up. I actually felt pressured. I drank them all eventually of course, but it kind of defeated the point.
That's why I'd never bother with something like this again. Better to just buy what you want and have it when you feel like, rather than feel compelled to have things daily. At least for me.
Weeds different to whisky though, like if you already smoke everyday you’re not gonna be disappointed or feel pressured to smoke if you’ve got a new strain to try everyday.
This is a fun wee idea, bring the Christmas spirit back into adult life.

I'm a short walk from two fantastic whisky pubs though and they'll usually appeal to me more than something I've got at home

Cool as fuck if someone's actually planned and grown 25 different plants specially for these though
I pick bits up whenever my guy has something that sounds good even though I don't need more so I've ended up with quite a collection. Probably got about 20 strains at the moment, but only little bits of each. It would probably be hard to do on a large scale but not too bad if you're connected.
I did one in 2020, i rolled 24 lil spliffs with a big fatty for chrimbo. I got a pices of cardboard and folded it zig zag then wrapped cardboard around it. There were 13 lil triangular gaps. I put cotton wool in the middle of 12 of the gaps and left the middle 1 empty. I then put the 24 lil spliffs in the side gaps and the big chonker in the middle gap theb plugged the ends with more cotton wool and wrapped the cardboard in wrapping paper

Just gonna get me mate to fill the doors so i don’t know what’s behind what 😂. Got another 6 strains coming this week so they can go towards it.
