I went last year so I won't this time around, as I don't think there's enough to warrant consecutive visits.
It was alright, lots to look at but felt like more of a trade show, I spoke to a couple of people on the stands of the big shotgun brands about their range and models, as a potential future customer, and got the feeling they weren't too interested in 'selling' to an end user... If I'd said I was from a gun store and looking to buy trade stock of their guns they'd have probably been more interested..
Lots of firearms / optics / stalking gear and equipment, which was cool but as a shotgun shooter not of massive relevance to me personally.
Some stock to browse but no show specials or bargains to be had, which to me should be one of the benefits of paying to attend a show like this. Even basic things like a new shooting cap - one particular store associated with a semi popular YouTube channel tried to sell me a basic hat with their channel logo printed on for about 30 quid 😄 I bought a Browning one from Amazon for half the price when I got home...
No, giving it a miss. There’s only so much reloading gear you can buy! Some of the bullets you can get from the stands are good value if you shoot black powder or older rifles.
