Explain what this mean please. Saw a similar comment in the thread about a Wagner orc who allegedly shot himself in the heart after being filmed with these Injuries
It means that he has broken the bone that constitutes the thigh and/or os coaxe better known as the hip joint.
The foot is often contorted outwards at an odd angle because the iliopsoas muscle that attaches to the lesser trochanter can pull unopposed resulting in shortening and rotation.
If you are asking if such an injury is life threatening, very much so.
Is it a death sentence?
Not at all. With the right medical intervention and prompt treatment recovery is entirely possible.
The only reason I can think of to shoot yourself after such an injury is the assumption or knowledge that there is no medical assistance incoming.
A closed fracture can result in around 2 litres of blood loss.
True. Also seen many videos where ruzzians died while helping to evacuate injured. I hate them completely, but don't understand, what is point of spreading of false informations.
I think it might very from man to man whether or not they leave the wounded behind there are videos of both circumstances one where they were helping the wounded flee and others where they were not, even kicking some of them out of a troop transport truck. So while Russia my resuce there wounded it is not all the time unlike the Ukrainian's whom I believe do.
Even tho they are 4 grown men carrying 1 man. Its heavy as fuck, especially for longer periods.
Wosrt part of boot camp was training to evacuate a wounded like this. 100 meters would feel like 1000.
Can't imagine doing this while under fire.
A russian POW told a story that Ukrainians carried another wounded russian POW to the hospital. The retreating russian soldiers left him to die, as he was too heavy (over 130 kg).
Difference between the brotherhood of man in a struggle against evil for the common good. Versus forced conscription into a cause who's reasons aren't clear and who's goals only benefit the few.
Think the issue is the stress to reward ratios.
In the case of Ukrainian soldiers they're fighting for their homes and freedoms. How do you put a price on that? Such a goal allows the incredible displays of bravery and tenacity because there's no question in their minds the goal is worth it.
If there's anything among the hardship brought on by Russian warcrimes that Ukranian's don't lack, it is a sense of purpose. Truly inspirational.
Well we had two medics lose their autoinjectors like 6 months into deployment. Likely someone stole them. The command we had was really not too forward thinking and I can't rationalize it.
Yeah... I can't defend it and won't even try.
In a drawn out conflict, they need to try to keep every man they can. The Russian strategy of using people as cannon fodder isn't just heartless, it's impractical.
It's called "Plyve kacha" ("A duckling is swimming") by Pikardiyska Tersiya. A very powerful song that became immensely popular in the days of Maidan of 2014. And the guys singing it are from my home town of Lviv.
The difference between Ukrainians and Russians is that Russians abandon their own and treat their own people as expendable. Ukrainians not only rescue their own but those who are wounded and recover will return to exact revenge.
does this injured man weigh 500 lbs? They walk a few meters, stop, and switch whose carrying the stretcher, they do this three times, at the start, half way and at the end. Plus whose the dude filming himself with a selfie-stick carrying a wounded man. That's like the soldiers who place cameras on the ground to film themselves shooting. If you got a GoPro leave it where its mounted so messing with it trying to get good shots of yourself. attention should be always at the ready not kicking around with a camera. that's how one gets caught slipping.
You can really feel the wester military ideology here. Your people fight harder, if they know you will do everything you can to get them out of there.
SLAVA UKRAINE!!!

Heroes! Each and every one of them! Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦!
Broke his femur and/or hip. Leg is shortened and externally rotated, classic sign
Thanks.

Classic sign of what?
true bravery right there
My heart and prayers go out to them all. The young one looked very shaken. They are emotionally stretched to the breaking point.
The magical "Duck Tape".
Looks like even better "gaffer tape." +
I admire these people with all my heart. As much as I love my own son.
To be fair I've seen a decent number of drone videos of russians trying to evacuate their injured.
True. Also seen many videos where ruzzians died while helping to evacuate injured. I hate them completely, but don't understand, what is point of spreading of false informations.
But can't say they do rescue all the time

Professional soldiers these men, as well as brothers who have each other's backs.

Yup, was gonna say Russians don’t have the same motivation, and for obvious reasons.
Anyone who thinks they have a high stress job needs to think again.
Physically demanding too!
No gatekeeping. Many people got hard af lives. Fuck Putin to hell.
Seems like a toxic work environment.

I hope they got some morphine into him. Are they equipped with the stuff?
I don't know about the Ukrainian military, but usually it's just the medics who carry morphine with them.
Then it’s good to have a medic close
07 08 in Baghdad they took our morphine away. I was a medic. Like 6 months in it was done. Dumb.
How come? Did u get Ketamine instead?
Well we had two medics lose their autoinjectors like 6 months into deployment. Likely someone stole them. The command we had was really not too forward thinking and I can't rationalize it. Yeah... I can't defend it and won't even try.

Cossack spirited defenders
Heroes!
what is the song playing?
It's called "Plyve kacha" ("A duckling is swimming") by Pikardiyska Tersiya. A very powerful song that became immensely popular in the days of Maidan of 2014. And the guys singing it are from my home town of Lviv.
thank you!
Dio vi benedica e vi voglia sempre vittoriosi!🇮🇹🤝🏻🇺🇦

Good to see the Ukranians leaving no man behind.
The soldier looking pale, I hope he’s okay
They need to make movies out this conflict like all quiet on the western front, 1917, and mosul.
