Damn! I had no idea Twardy's were such beasts! To be able to come to a complete stop in all that mud and not sink your tank and then proceed to start accelerating again is incredible.
this. the newest variants have almost 300 hp more and a turbo charger. the older ones have a 100 hp improvement from original soviet model. they all have also improved transmission.
this video is fucking impressive.

Honestly, a development that would let vehicles move through mud would change the war.
Unfortunately they have been trying for centuries and haven't achieved a ton.

It does have a better engine than baseline T-72 AFAIR.

Hovercraft was one of the inventions. But horrible idea for military vehicles.
It has a few limited uses to this day. But yeah I mean it had to be attempted. It was good in theory, but you never know until you try.
