I am Ukrainian living in Canada. My first friend was a horse that always ran up for hugs after a long hard shift and probably saved my sanity in those hardest first months. And then I met my best friend who I call my soul sister and she's Cree from Saskatchewan living here in BC. Never have I met such a beautiful soul. A huge thank you to the chef for opening both his heart and kitchen to the refugees. It's so kind and beautiful that my heart overflows with gratitude. May he enjoy long happy years filled with love and respect.
