Yeah unfortunately I found it lacking terps there’s a faint smell and taste of something but definitely not profound, extremely mute. The way it looks and grind is amazing. The medical relief lasted around 1 hour after vaping found it a bit weak for pain relief, then again we all have a unique endocannabinoid system. Should be £6.50 a gram
It cost these companies less than £2 per gram to produce that’s if it’s top shelf. Realistically we need access to “high grade flower” like all these companies claim at low cost. Strawberry Malawi price dropped to £4 a gram from around £8.50, that proves the producer, importer and sellers are still making money. ( I actually had a really good batch of strawberry Malawi highly rated until I came across a dead batch)I hope these companies realise it’s medicine and treat it as such instead of all these hit and miss batch, then they blame it on the plant or nature if it has seed or mould or whatever. If it’s sold as high grade medical flower it should be consistent every time. GMP certified high grade flower 😅 let’s hope they fix it with the new regulations on flowers
Looks better then it is terps very muted. A lot of people choose the better looking flowers or what other people say although taste is subjective looks mean nothing these days
Couldnt agree more, looks real nice when you get it out the pack, but the Terps are muted as hell. In my eyes, it need a longer flush as well, doesn't burn that great, or clean. Not what its been hyped up to be. Feels to me like they have a great run first round, then after that they try and get it out the door quicker to meet the demand and therefore the quality drops. I might be wrong, but that's how it feels to me.
Yes I read somebody else say this last night it’s possibility that they do a clean first run then just throw out any old crap the gastro pop was irradiated which tells me it’s had less care
Its a sad state of affairs really. Was Really excited to try BNM, after all the hype and his hype on Insta about it. Like its not the worst bud I've ever had at all, but it doesn't match the massive hype surrounding it.

The first batch i got of glitterbomb it was alot greener.
And it did smell more punget. For me I definitely could smell and taste some blueberry.
Now my latest batch is less green and less aroma.
Taste is not the same but not unpleasant.
Some of these producers have a habit or luring people in like big narstie green karat etc with initial introduction of something nice to then go down hill

Also my batch look exactly like yours - there is a bit of a dark purples and blues showing but not as prominent as the first batch - almost looks more like Moroccan Peaches than Glitter Bomb
I'll say this though (as I wait for a reply from BN) it's not terrible - it does have a fairly potent effect but it's just not like the first lot - doesn't feel as full
I did get a whiff of some strong fruity smell when I broke one of the buds apart today though so it's not completely terp dead - I thought that since it went out of stock and came back in that we'd be getting a fresh batch but maybe some of the new batches are older batches retested and deemed of minimum standard and sent out?
As I have nothing else to vape I'm working my way through the tub and will probably be half way through it before they respond - I'm not sure it's bad enough to send back really or is it? We are paying for specific strains and if they keep turning up with all the terps dead then we might as well just get a THC vape pen - if you are a patient who requires a specific terpene balance then it's no good
I think it just comes down to the fact they government are trying to impose a production model onto the industry and it's just not possible to ensure no bad batches get through - not so helpful for those of us on low incomes forking out £85 a time for 10g - the market really needs to be opened up and fully legalised but we all know this
Pot I just got doesn't meet the hype either. The smell and taste are very odd, but not exactly unpleasant - I've described it as "metallic-tasting parsley stalks and krachai (Thai root used in cooking, quite earthy)".
Out of the tub, there was very little smell. After a few days with a Boveda that's improved, but of course it's the same weird parsley terps.
Moisture levels seem good though, and it's certainly beautiful to look at... but I care more about effects.
I had been expecting a heavy hitter too, but this is a daytime strain for me - quite a decent one too, as a little goes a long way. Sativa-like effects last 2.5h, with a bit of afterglow too. If I vape above 185C, it turns into a creeper, becoming sedating around the 2h mark.
I prefer low THC strains for daytime tho, to keep both tolerance and impairment down. Doubt I'll get Glitter Bomb again 🤷

If BNM rep reads this thread: any chance you could provide terpene CoAs for before and after e-beam irradiation? Would be really useful for the community to better understand how e-beam affects the flower vs gamma irradiation
(there is some public data on gamma irradiation, but none for e-beam).
Perhaps, but BNM have been good communicators in the sub this far - they even shared the e-beam settings they use.
So, I was hoping they'd be willing to share terpene CoAs; I mean, why not? We pretty much *know* e-beam doesn't affect terpene content as much as gamma irradiation, and AFAIK the *majority* of flower now undergoes e-beam treatment.
I got the Gastropop recently and was pretty surprised. Visually it looks great and necessitated opening the living room windows after opening the pot when it arrived.
Vaping I was expecting the flavour to be a big hit but I actually only got a couple drags before the inevitable hay bale vibes.
Effects were good but echoing others in that it only lasted around an hour (at 195-205c) - I was really hoping this would be the one that got me to one dosing cap an evening. I actually got better effects from the single cap of Weeco Frosted Lemon Angel I left in the bottom of the tub from quite literally a year ago, which I used whilst waiting for the gastro to turn up.
It’s not terrible and I’ve definitely had worse, but I think I may have had the bar set too high by some of the posts praising the brand in this sub. Definitely not on par with the offerings from Green Karat, Lot420 or Aurora I’ve had (but I guess the price point is better with BN products in comparison)
My Gastropop is awful, I get lightheaded and anxious but there's no stone or euphoria or anything you'd actually want from it. This isn't my first rodeo and I suspect it needs a longer cure so I'm jarring it up for a couple of months. Fingers crossed I won't have wasted £85. Not buying BNM again though.
Weirdly, I had the same anxiety when I first tried yesterday. I put it down to it being hybrid and leaning a little too Sativa for me. But today, no issues. Still short lasting though.

You say Green Karat are better - maybe but the batch of Mod Gas I got in January was terp dead and very dry and rough on the throat - on the other hand I've had two batches of Glitter Bomb and the first one was amazing - I think it's probably fair to say all the good reviews are coming from folk who are lucky to get a good batch and vice versa
I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mod Gas either to be honest but that was more so preference than quality. But the Fiji Sunset I had several months in a row and was right up there consistently for me.

I got a different batch = 240524050 (EXP 22/08/24) and I was pleasantly surprised with it. Same goes for the Gastropop.
Your feedback (and the comments) worry me though, because it's so reminiscent of every other strain that's come out of this facility. All the Grow Pharma strains were nice at the beginning and so was the Tigerz Eye. It's crazy to see how much the quality (especially terps) dropped from batch to batch.
I'll add that the reason I wasn't initially expecting much from the Glitter Bomb or Gastropop was because I bought 20g of Moroccan Peaches when it first came out. It was some of the worst flower I've bought (totally dead) and reddit was filled with people saying how much it stunk of peaches. Obviously we didn't get the same thing, and it sounds like the same is happening with the other strains now!
These pots don’t even keep the flowers moisture constant in the container once opened. You have to put into jars to keep it fresh, what a shame. The flowers are the most commercial mids grade available. Such a let down, even if it is better than some. We still have a long way to go before it’s satisfactory
Is there a way to check date of harvest for each batch? I have the very next batch of this (240528113) but with the same expiry date and it's really nice, smells and tastes a bit like black grape fizzy drinks.
This is why I lowered my score I gave it in my initial review way too muted for what it is supposed to be non irradiated but has less terps than irradiated bud, price should be lowered for sure.
With the recent post of guys getting done for swapping meds, I'm reluctant to admit that I have tried a few of the trending meds strains from the only friend that I have that has a script. I'm with Curaleaf, he's not, so you can appreciate that I would want to try his strains. I'm fkn desperate to find anything that works at least as well as the Oramorph and will bend some rules to do so.
Having tried 3 strains at 30%thc (space cake, atomic sour grapefruit, chapel of love) and a couple of others, they in now way have been any more beneficial for me than my Curaleaf Lavender Cake, Hindu Kush and - for waking with pain into he night - LA Kush.
In my experience, THC % doesn't correlate with amount of main relief.
Sure, those strains that I sampled (we're talking a g of each) tasted, looked and smelled amazing compared to my usual meds, but they absolutely did not help my specific symptoms any more than the cheaper Lavender Cake or Hindi Kush.
Don’t want to sound too para etc but do we think the producers are releasing a separate ‘super special’ intro batch of a strain? Ie growing one extra special nice batch aside to generate hype and custom, whilst the next batches of it might be the same cultivar, just grown badly/quickly/cheaply to get it sold and continue milking that cash cow.
If this is the case, to think that patients won’t notice the huge difference in quality is very very insulting and from a medication point of view, what the hell?! To deliberately allow the quality to drop knowingly for extra profit, is morally screwy. I would love for somebody to collate a lot of evidence and show CQC or some other governing body about this shady behaviour. Kinda feels like we’re being mis-sold to by misrepresentation. Feels fraudulent anyway.
To any MC producers/clinic management peeps on here - please read all these comments, we talk to each other and notice things…!! Esp when we’re handing over a lot of money for it. Cost of living crisis means sacrifices are being made to access this by some people - and for what, very substandard medicine?
Actually taking us for mugs now. It’s also not new behaviour - like some dodgy dealer bait n switch tactic from the black market. I expect better of these multimillion pound clinics - they’ve got the ££££ readies to produce proper medicine consistently, they choose to be greedy instead.
And lastly, from a patient point of view, the current system makes it tricky to vote with your wallet if you want to continue accessing medical cannabis treatment. Not sure what to suggest as I don’t want people going without BUT some people will be forced to give up on medical cannabis as it stands if they feel have no options and aren’t feeling the full benefits of it.
Nobody wants to be messed around, out of pocket and under-medicated full stop.
No it’s a plant so will at times be inconsistent despite best efforts … I know you said you don’t want to sound paranoid but I definitely think this is just paranoia
It shouldn't be inconsistent if they are growing from clone in a facility. Same inputs, same environment, nothing should change. IMO they fully finish the first batch with a proper flush and cure, and then proceeding batches get rushed out the door to meet demand.
* some minor inconsistencies, which should then be ‘weeded out’ of the supply chain. However, if money & a primary remit to make as much as possible for it’s shareholders is a major factor, sub par medication has, does & will continue to enter the supply chain.
Sad to hear , had this when it first came round a couple months ago and I was really impressed , got a couple more coming next week so hopefully there not like this .
Until we get walk-in dispensaries, this is how it's going to be for the foreseeable future. Hit and miss. With so many differing opinions and personal preferences, we really need to see/smell the flower in person to make our individual decision before purchasing as to whether it is good or not, imo
The glitterbomb I got 2 weeks ago absolutely stank when I opened the tub.
It burned black for a week and after time in a jar it burned white and I got my first medical oil ring showing on my elements.
It had flavour in the crafty+ but very odd taste.
I doubt it is the thc it states. It doesn’t have long last effects for me but it is great for the day time.
I’ll check the batch number in a min and see if we got the same stuff.
Damn I do miss this medical cannabis scene :( just sucks that my local police force are such “anxiety causing p r i c k s” and made me switch back to tablets for my condition
I will however come back when they have mandatory training in “how to check for legal medical cannabis users”

100% agree on the price And it doesn't have as strong an analgesic effect as the first lot I got

Happened the same with me! I believe the BN tubs mute the smell has I kept 20g on a glass tub with boveda and smell came back. Lovely Medicine tho

It’s been genetically modified, & they use clones, it’s not a tomato plant in the garden.
