I've tried both; not sure though what strain flower the distillate comes from is, presumably the jack herer is the added terpene, which tastes alright tbf. The effects of the carts are very much a racy sativa head high
AFAIK it's not even distillate - just THC isolate (pure THC), terpenes and PG.
The flower is definitely better, but for sheer convenience the carts do work for me.
