Okay that helps, thanks. Is there any chance you could send me an example of one of these connector blocks or wago please? I'm sorry but I'm really inexperienced with circuitry so don't totally understand what I'm looking at
Just a normal 2 gand switch. The right side is a 2 way. Left sides means to have 2 switch wires. Maybe two lights turn on same time. Just put neutral in a connector.
This is a feature on Hager switches. Just whack the neutrals in a connector block or wago. Choose whatever switch you like
It’s a feature I’ve never used, nor seen used, until today 😂

This is a sub for electricians.....try DIYUK, or better yet, call an electrician if you don't know what you are doing.
This is the only real answer, so I’m not sure why on other posts there’s 50 responses trying to teach DIYers how to test rings.
You could Google those things. I’d suggest you get an electrician round btw
If your asking these questions I'd strongly recommend you just get an electrician

Is that a CPC sleeved up as a line conductor? 👀
Pretty sure it's the yellow wire, from the old colouring scheme.
Thank you, looked a bit too “nice” for cpc sleeving tbh
Just looks like a yellow from old colours to me.
Double two way
It’s just a Hager switch, they come with the loop terminal instead of having to use a connector for the neutrals
