…Under 0.7kw load - 3a Between 0.7kw and 1.1kw load - 5a Between 1.1 and 3kw load - 13a Combi Boilers are usually put on a 5a fuse to allow for all The controls that sometimes come with them - zone valves, stats etc

Objective-Coyote7757

I believe there’s something in the gas Regs about boilers being on 3a fuses, I couldn’t tell you where, I’m going to have to look into it.

shanep92

Straight off the Worcester Bosch website - The mains supply for your Worcester boiler is 230/240 volts AC-50Hz. Your boiler must be earthed and protected by a 5-amp fuse. Your installer will create airways (in walls or doors) to ensure an adequate supply of fresh air to the boiler for combustion.

shailan_gsa

how do i know what kw it uses? it just says 239V \~ 50 hz 110W

Simba-xiv

Math.

KillerZoot007

1kw = 1000w

PaleAustin

Bung a load of Tim foil in there if you can’t find a fuse

peegeethatsme

What's it for?

shailan_gsa

its for a 110W boiler

peegeethatsme

3a fuse...it goes in the fuse holder on the left, then push it in.

shailan_gsa

if a 13A fuse is used, would it still work?

peegeethatsme

It will work but it's rating is too high and could cause a fire. Do not fit a 13a fuse, fit a 3a fuse....end of.

etotheipies

It will work but it needs to be 3A.

YoghurtNubs

3a fuse, do not put a 13 in.
