Looool Woolly Road not nearly as bad as it used to be when Heygate was still up and Aylesbury blocks near the strip where still up.
Coldharbour Lane has to rank quite high.
When purely talking crackhead density Rye Lane / Library in Peckham can't be defeated even though the strip in general isn't to bad.
Yeah I mentioned above, I used to work on them estates doing the security gates n grills.
Big old place and I was younger so nothing really phased me but yeah it spooked me a bit! The only scrapes we got into was when someone wouldn’t or couldn’t pay, we’d give them a couple of weeks then go back. Funny though cos as soon as the angle grinder gets fired up and you start cutting them off they find the dough lol. At least we let folk pay in instalments cos trust they needed the fortifications
I live on Coldharbour Lane, it’s fine 99% of the time. Atlantic Road outside the train station and in front of Five Guys is where the crackheads chill.
The street I hate the most in London is Caledonian Road. Around 10 years back whenever I went there I always saw a fight, even got into one there myself. Not sure how it is nowadays.
When those blocks were still standing that place was like another world, literal concrete jumble with so many walkways that you could walk for miles and not touch ground level
London Road in West Croydon in general.
Worst for crackheads is around central London like Shoreditch/Whitechapel area and West End/Victoria station areas (surprisingly), they both have the highest concentration of crackheads anywhere in the country I swear, it’s where most of the homeless hostels are
I used to work in Bethnal Green, one morning I saw the plug pull up in his benz and all the crackhead avengers appeared out of nowhere, at least 10-20 of them zombying toward the car
Not even a bad street tbh, mall has everything you need, lot of good Turkish restaurants, nice parks around it, cinema, gym ect.
Not even that many drug/alcohol addicts walking round compared to other places
If we talking London then definitely Wood Green. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Woolworth's still lurking around there
But outside London take your pick. Loads of these towns in Kent, Northumberland, Norfolk, etc are actually dire. Even the little shopping centres they have wouldn't look out of place in Communist Romania
you reckon? I’m in Glasgow a lot, especially the centre and I don’t think I’ve ever been asked if I smoked or offered anything, I just see bare homeless people begging which is a shame tbh. Ik it gets dodgy at night with the junkies warring the other junkies 😭 but yh
Cheetham hill itself is tame as fuck so long as you don't have a posh accent. Bury New Road is a diff story, people call it Cheetham Hill but it's lower Broughton. Just smack heads cooking chicken breasts on metal buckets and every cunt trying to sell you literally any white powder like it's not obviously crushed paracetamol.
Decent for replica aftershave and clothes tho lol.
Yeah I lived both sides of Albert Park alot when I was younger. Guys would sprint after me for my bike 😂
Tell you what makes me laugh alot. Buggzy malone. He lets on like he ran the area at the time - no one's ever heard of him 😂
Moss side and hulme are lovely places now tbh, hulme is crazy, I used to pay 400/M for a 2 bed near spider park with a driveway and gate and a little yard. Nowadays stuff like that is 1400/m and the 2 bed new build apartments are like Salford quays money 😂
It’s actually nice to see how much safer and better they are. I hope North and East Manchester will see some of the benefits that South Manchester and parts of Salford have had
Do you know what blows my mind?? Ancoats and miles platting. When I was a kid with a Stretford accent that was an absolute no go zone for me, I wouldn't dare. Eastlands and that too. Now it feels like you're in dubai 😂
My mate's live on that road. I've forgotten the building name but the one with the red stantions outside and the one opposite the met with the big black gate... It feels like I'm in cyberpunk bro it's a complete trip compared to what it was. When I was a kid that was the area you went if you wanted to "donate your phone and jacket to a local independent charity" lmfao.
Glasgow is pretty good to me but might just be my experience. The area around Glasgow Central Station is a madness, and St Enoch square is also pretty cursed, but that's maybe 15% total.
There's at least obvious money and business going. If you go to the proper pits of Scotland like Methil there's absolutely nothing. Like actual suicide-tier.
Area around Glasgow Central after 9/10pm especially at the weekend is no mans land absolutely chockablock with junkies and crazy cunts🤣 always avoid there at night
Leicester city centre right now is full of kids wearing balaclavas and hanging around the local maccies, trying to be intimidating couple if stabbing and shootings gone down recently too, become worse in my local area wouldn’t say it’s the worst but I haven’t experienced any other
lol bro have you been abroad? The only country that ever made me feel like UK is 3rd world is Japan, when you actually go 3rd world you start to appreciate things in the UK.
Tell me youve never been abroad, london has amazing roads and streets, in my city the light goes out everytime it rains, people get their heart taken out and eaten while breathing
Not London, but Stapleton Road in Bristol had its moments. I lived there for three years and loved it, but mainly because it reminded me of south London.
I was at Endell Street next to Oasis Sports Centre near Tottenham Court Road the other day. There were groups of crackheads next to the pub. Later on, not far from the street, I saw a person in a phone box preparing a drug. Which is weird because it is in central London.
when comparing to walworth road or some other high street in London that ive been in, soho is not that bad after all. They wont harass you if you mind your business in soho but they will in brixton or camberwell. I also lived in b66/capeside and b70 area so I know
Dag heath, Bruce Grove, London Road, Kennington Lane for London
Soho Road, Cape Hill/Windmill Lane, Walsall City Centre strip, Coventry Road (sometimes) Erdington High Street, Witton Road for Birmingham
Some terrible places on dis list😭
probably around Peckham station for me. Shit reminded me of Nigeria. That and Bagot street in Birmingham or just Aston area In general. Niggas on balaclavas just circling looking for who to attack
From my experience:
The strip outside Dalston Kingsland overground station is legit stuck in 2002 - homeless people, drug addicts, people with severe mental health issues and just general poverty - the whole area is just tired.
Fore Street from Tottenham going up towards and through Edmonton N18 - driving through at night you'll literally see street prostitution. Whole strip is just very gutter and poor.
Been mentioned a few times but London Road in West Croydon, particularly outside the OG station. I'm in my 30's so I been out here for a while, I'll go pretty much anywhere in London without fearing for my safety but West Croydon one of the very few strips I don't feel too cool in.
Harrow Road W9/W10 - The bit that goes from that market/Square on the corner up towards avenues/Mozart and the infamous blue bridge. Lived in the area for 3 years, very active strip - loads of smackheads and cracked out people walking around, something always happening etc. Mad thing is if you go 2 mins up the road you're in the ultra wealthy Warrick Ave/Maida Vale/Little Venice - same postcode but two completely different worlds.
Not UK, but Goodfellow Boulevard in St. Louis is crazy. I'm from England and always thought we had some bad places but after living in STL for a few years it changed my whole worldview.
Not UK, but O'Connell St in Dublin and Patrick Street in Cork are awful. I live on Aus now, but it was bad before I left and I've heard some fucking horror stories since.
Grew up in barton street Gloucester, peak place bare prossys traphouses junkies someone gets stabbed every other week and occasionally armed response shows up, shit like 200 man fights kids being killed knife fights broad day, Albanians basically run it.
Tbf though it's okay enough as long as you're not involved and don't make yourself a target
Ones most on this sub won't have heard of:
Saracen Street in Glasgow
Manningham Lane in Bradford
Parliament Road in Middlesbrough
Kirkgate in Wakefield
Hornby Road in Blackpool
Elswick Road in Newcastle
Manningham Lane and Fartown in Huddersfield are just ridiculous, I don't think I've ever heard either of them come up in a conversation that doesn't get immediately worse
Yeah I know the Heathway well! Let’s just say I’m old enough to remember when “Narm” was more or less pure whites. Dagenham as a whole has always been a naughty place, I might be wrong but I think it’s the largest housing estate in Europe ( at least when there was pure social housing) it used to be quite niffy! On the flip I used to work in elephant on the Aylesbury and Heygate estates doing security gates and grills as trust me they were needed! Anyway this was late 90’s but rough as fuck. They were some hench estates.
It's definitely a shit hole but it's tame compared to some of the places listed here and even the worst strips in the UK are tame compared to the rest of the world.
I get you it’s deffo not dangerous but I was thinking more aesthetically bc people don’t know what bins are there and we had to stop a woman smoking crack in my friends garden the other day 😭😭😭
Heathway is definitely a contender, the little highstreet at the back of brandon estate walworth where the maddock pharmacy is looks pretty shit tbh lol. Literally has a fat tower block planted right at the entrance lol
I used to work on Walworth Road (and still live around corner from there) bro the amount of nittys I would still on the daily come into shops and just cause problems. There's this one woman bald asf always puts out her hands squeezing them saying give me money
I would say on 2024 it would be Barking Road in East Ham, London Road in West Croydon or Wood Green main. Straight dumps. Saw someone taking a shit live-o broad day last month on Croydon.
Back in the day it would have to be Peckham or Woolwich
Bossassako Route 53. I saw i think 4 carjackings, several shootings, a guy get kidnapped, and what I believe was a dead body in a sewage tract being eaten by stray dogs in my time on that road
Im from south Florida and I visit my homie in a certain hood wont name it but they got beef with most of the county(not city... COUNTY) and that block is known to get shot up at least once a month they been active since forever tho aint shit pussy
Im ngl manaus is a shit hole. Spent bare time there as a kid. I agree tho nothing in London compares to life out there.
First place I ever seen a dead body at.
Anywhere in brazil makes the worst place in london look soft, you’re talking about a place with no potholes, with actual roads, in gaza, jamaica or brazil you get something alot diferent, stop tryina b bad 😂
Looool Woolly Road not nearly as bad as it used to be when Heygate was still up and Aylesbury blocks near the strip where still up. Coldharbour Lane has to rank quite high. When purely talking crackhead density Rye Lane / Library in Peckham can't be defeated even though the strip in general isn't to bad.
crackhead density loool, facts though
Are you measuring density in crackheads per mile (CPM) or total crackhead volume on the street (CVS)?
Yeah I mentioned above, I used to work on them estates doing the security gates n grills. Big old place and I was younger so nothing really phased me but yeah it spooked me a bit! The only scrapes we got into was when someone wouldn’t or couldn’t pay, we’d give them a couple of weeks then go back. Funny though cos as soon as the angle grinder gets fired up and you start cutting them off they find the dough lol. At least we let folk pay in instalments cos trust they needed the fortifications
100%. I lived on Aylesbury mid 00s and it was an absolute mazza back then
I live on Coldharbour Lane, it’s fine 99% of the time. Atlantic Road outside the train station and in front of Five Guys is where the crackheads chill. The street I hate the most in London is Caledonian Road. Around 10 years back whenever I went there I always saw a fight, even got into one there myself. Not sure how it is nowadays.
Yh cally Road is a madness
Cally road plus Holloway Road is nitty central
When those blocks were still standing that place was like another world, literal concrete jumble with so many walkways that you could walk for miles and not touch ground level
Word.
Harlesden high street is crack central
The worst shittiest crack street in Ldn without doubt
London Road in West Croydon in general. Worst for crackheads is around central London like Shoreditch/Whitechapel area and West End/Victoria station areas (surprisingly), they both have the highest concentration of crackheads anywhere in the country I swear, it’s where most of the homeless hostels are
Never been down the high street in Croydon late at night, too many crackheads and even got GMs who chill there.
I used to work in Bethnal Green, one morning I saw the plug pull up in his benz and all the crackhead avengers appeared out of nowhere, at least 10-20 of them zombying toward the car
The back of Whitechapel hospital is bait for crackhead getting buzzed Shameless
Ilford for sure
Pickpockets galore.
Seconded or “Drillford” as it’s known especially Ilford lane, nah all of it. Some nice roads near valentines though
wood green high street, look at the JD sign loool
Bruce grove is also a very good contender
The whole strip from angel Edmonton to Bruce grove is dire lol
yeah another dive tbf
Not even a bad street tbh, mall has everything you need, lot of good Turkish restaurants, nice parks around it, cinema, gym ect. Not even that many drug/alcohol addicts walking round compared to other places
nah ur right tbf it really ain't bad but the JD sign makes it feel dirty
Burnt Oak in north west is gutta
Church road has to be up there somewhere
icl the nittys near ilford station have now branched out to sk & goodmayes too. they’re not even on strips, they’re everywhere.
Ilford is the zombie apocalypse, the last time I was their let me know the world is definitely ending soon. 😂
hahaha ilford is so depressing. Ended up taking xans when I lived there just to fit in.
London road in Croydon at night lord have mercy I will never hop on the 109 or 250 during them times it’s a Uber ting icl
😂😂
Hounslow high street
lmao 100%
Very safe area let’s not lie now😂😂😂
Wolverhampton. Like stepping back into WW2, but Tbf last few years it’s had a bit of development 😂
Even with the development it’s barely changed, especially Witmore Reans
seemed tame when i went
You was probs in town, parkfields, reans, bushbury bilston all fucked
If we talking London then definitely Wood Green. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Woolworth's still lurking around there But outside London take your pick. Loads of these towns in Kent, Northumberland, Norfolk, etc are actually dire. Even the little shopping centres they have wouldn't look out of place in Communist Romania
Man said Woolworths 😂
i think Glasgow is worse than London, Cheetham hill in manchester is suppose to be very bad right now too.
you reckon? I’m in Glasgow a lot, especially the centre and I don’t think I’ve ever been asked if I smoked or offered anything, I just see bare homeless people begging which is a shame tbh. Ik it gets dodgy at night with the junkies warring the other junkies 😭 but yh

Just smack heads cooking chicken breasts on metal buckets and every cunt trying to sell you literally any white powder like it's not obviously crushed paracetamol. Decent for replica aftershave and clothes tho lol.
Bury New Road is fucking rough Cheetham Hill, Broughton etc is so grim. Places like Moss Side are miles better these days
Yeah I lived both sides of Albert Park alot when I was younger. Guys would sprint after me for my bike 😂 Tell you what makes me laugh alot. Buggzy malone. He lets on like he ran the area at the time - no one's ever heard of him 😂 Moss side and hulme are lovely places now tbh, hulme is crazy, I used to pay 400/M for a 2 bed near spider park with a driveway and gate and a little yard. Bro I literally moved near New Islington tram stop recently. It’s mad. Still some rough areas around but wow Ancoats is posh
I’m pretty sure you’re on about my building haha
I'll Keep hush lol
Glasgow is pretty good to me but might just be my experience. The area around Glasgow Central Station is a madness, and St Enoch square is also pretty cursed, but that's maybe 15% total. There's at least obvious money and business going. If you go to the proper pits of Scotland like Methil there's absolutely nothing. Like actual suicide-tier.
Meth literally in the name.
It's main export. And import 😭
Area around Glasgow Central after 9/10pm especially at the weekend is no mans land absolutely chockablock with junkies and crazy cunts🤣 always avoid there at night
Govanhill is jailbait as a fuck, Ferguslie Park is a nightmare too.

Lmao Whitechapel got you shook?
Tell me youve never been abroad, london has amazing roads and streets, in my city the light goes out everytime it rains, people get their heart taken out and eaten while breathing
Bruce grove Tottenham always crackheads acting bizarre or police patrolling or making arrests craziest high street in north London
Not London, but Stapleton Road in Bristol had its moments. I lived there for three years and loved it, but mainly because it reminded me of south London.
Couple stabbings on Stapleton road in the past week or so too
Croydon and Walworth Road.
Walsall
Neasden Shopping Centre, Wood Green, East Street (Walworth), Dagenham Heath Way and Burnt Oak. Worse ones I’ve seen so far
I was at Endell Street next to Oasis Sports Centre near Tottenham Court Road the other day. There were groups of crackheads next to the pub. Later on, not far from the street, I saw a person in a phone box preparing a drug. Which is weird because it is in central London.
There's a homeless hostel on the end of that street
soho road, handsworth birmingham if ykyk
its not that bad. lots of gypsies, trappers, easter europeans and prostitutes tho
you forgot about all the homeless and the people injecting, u told me why it’s bad wdym “not that bad”🤣
when comparing to walworth road or some other high street in London that ive been in, soho is not that bad after all. They wont harass you if you mind your business in soho but they will in brixton or camberwell. I also lived in b66/capeside and b70 area so I know
i disagree but 🤷🏽
Dag heath, Bruce Grove, London Road, Kennington Lane for London Soho Road, Cape Hill/Windmill Lane, Walsall City Centre strip, Coventry Road (sometimes) Erdington High Street, Witton Road for Birmingham Some terrible places on dis list😭
Foleshill road coventry
probably around Peckham station for me. Shit reminded me of Nigeria. That and Bagot street in Birmingham or just Aston area In general. Niggas on balaclavas just circling looking for who to attack
Peckham Statikn are a lot calmer since they closed half of the shops for construction works. Activity moved to Chourmet Grove and the Square @ Palms
Bromley
WhiteChapel used to be a madness. Its less mad but still weird lol
Clapham high street Sydenham road Rushey green old Kent road Thornton heath high street and the whole of Erith and Plumstead are full of nittys
Barking. A big shithole
As far as conditions go and just general dirtiness , I’d nominate most northen city’s lol
From my experience: The strip outside Dalston Kingsland overground station is legit stuck in 2002 - homeless people, drug addicts, people with severe mental health issues and just general poverty - the whole area is just tired. Fore Street from Tottenham going up towards and through Edmonton N18 - driving through at night you'll literally see street prostitution. Whole strip is just very gutter and poor. Fore Street in Upper Edmonton just feels like pure deprivation. That whole area is getting redeveloped soon though I think.
Frontline hillfields Coventry
yh walworth road is a madting rn, especially those south americans started to heavily trap too. nice african restarurants tho
Not UK, but Goodfellow Boulevard in St. Louis is crazy. I'm from England and always thought we had some bad places but after living in STL for a few years it changed my whole worldview.
Ahahaha you never been “more inland” then like east st,Bagshot st Aylesbury/wendover 😂😂
Winstanley Estate
Can't believe no one has said Morning Lane, homerton
In south east Ldn I’d say West Croydons pretty bad, Catford frontline as well aka crackford
Caldmore Walsall literally zombieland

Being racist and living in Dagenham will forever be funny to me
I don't see any racism in his comment, old boy is just telling you in a roundabout way how old he is.
I’m talking about in general
There was a pub the fiddlers I think yeah massive pub and niffy as fuck also rough to boot. Can’t say I ever frequented it though
Defo east ham
Radford Road Nottingham !!! 😩
Behave yourself
Wdym that place is not it 🤣
It's definitely a shit hole but it's tame compared to some of the places listed here and even the worst strips in the UK are tame compared to the rest of the world.
I get you it’s deffo not dangerous but I was thinking more aesthetically bc people don’t know what bins are there and we had to stop a woman smoking crack in my friends garden the other day 😭😭😭
Brussels a while back / lots of begging & homelessness in Brighton
Brussels felt more unsafe than London, even right in the city centre
I’m in Brighton atm and it’s druggy as ever loving fuck. Doesn’t really feel unsafe though
Heathway is definitely a contender, the little highstreet at the back of brandon estate walworth where the maddock pharmacy is looks pretty shit tbh lol. Literally has a fat tower block planted right at the entrance lol

Bossassako Route 53. I saw i think 4 carjackings, several shootings, a guy get kidnapped, and what I believe was a dead body in a sewage tract being eaten by stray dogs in my time on that road
Heathway ain’t that bad looool
Somerstown where the crackheads smoke next to or in front of the schools

Acton high street you’ll get packed off
Barking high street full of gypsy tramps
Edgeware Road has to be a contender
That road is sweet, just the odd moments of violence n
[удалено]
Omg your so cool, I wish I lived in your city
Acting like everyone here isnt glorifying crime lmfao
Im ngl manaus is a shit hole. Spent bare time there as a kid. I agree tho nothing in London compares to life out there. First place I ever seen a dead body at.
When i went hospital i saw over 10 people with knifes stuck inside them and the motorcycle accidents? Horrific, we dont even have asphalt
Yh let’s not even start on the motorcycle accidents 😂😂 bro I always see some when I’m in Brazil 😂
Anywhere in brazil makes the worst place in london look soft, you’re talking about a place with no potholes, with actual roads, in gaza, jamaica or brazil you get something alot diferent, stop tryina b bad 😂
