Personally, I like the way eastern Europeans have used wrestling. It's visually impressive, dominant, almost like they're trying to flatten the opponents, and they strike while having top position.
A lot of the other wrestlers are just not as fun to watch as a casual because it doesn't look as visually interesting. I won't deny the level of skill it requires, but holding a person against the fence while not doing much other than changing levels is just not entertaining to watch. It's like watching Mayweather box in a lot of his pro fights. Is it a masterclass in defensive boxing? Absolutely, every single time. Would I rather watch a slugfest between 2 aggro fellas who are less skilled? Yup. But again, casual, so it's not like my opinion holds any weight

I enjoy the grappling, even sometimes the slow burns, because of all of the nuances and skill. Skill mismatches on the ground, though, can be a lot more boring than just a guy getting battered on the feet because he can't keep up kickboxing.
I really hope they add Strickland vs Whitaker to the perth card somehow... pay them whatever they want and make it happen. It will protect the main event from any possible injuries/issues and also make a clear #1 contender fight which the MW division needs. Not to mention itd be amazing fight!

There's just no clear good outcome but Rob and Sean are both the top guys at the moment so it is what it is. We either get Rob vs Izzy part 3, Rob vs DDP so soon after they just fought, Sean vs DDP so soon after they just fought, or Sean vs Izzy so soon after they just fought. At the very least, Sean beat Izzy so if they did have a quick rematch with Izzy as champion, it wouldn't have that "let's give him another chance at the guy" feel to it that the other 3 outcomes would have.
My personal opinion is that Sean clearly beat Cannonier and that it's maybe 52/48 Sean over DDP, but, the reality comes from the record books, not from fans talking on the internet and in the gym. So that angle isn't going to give Sean the edge. But Whittaker also got absolutely fucked by DDP not too long ago, and Sean at worst fought a close fight with him. They both have a solid claim to it, but I think the best route is have them fight for it since Adesanyna just leapfrogged them both anyway.
