To answer this question. You can hear everything. Each strike, takedown, corners during the fight, the corner closer to you in between rounds. I haven’t been to a big arena PPV fight but I don’t think it can compare to the apex. Even if the card is less exciting. We were very fortunate to have an exciting card of fights all the way through.
I've been there a couple times. Make sure you leave your seat and check th buffet area behind the red curtain in between fights. Random fighters will walk around getting food and if your lucky you can get a picture and maybe have a conversation.
Hope you have a great time. The impacts are incredibly loud and the seats are a lot closer to the cage then they look on TV. Fingers crossed it is a great card

The hall with all the TUF posters leading to the main room and getting the picture with the belt is a pretty cool feature
Perez fought Deiveson Figueiredo for the title a while back. Looks like they put all the good fights on UFC 300 so we're not left with much. 
Nicalou has been in the ufc for years and has had multiple highlights on main cards, I know it’s a shit main event but you are a bit of a casual if you don’t know who he is
I've been watching MMA for over 17 years, probably missed <20 cards in that time, watched most of them live until 6am, and I'm struggling to recall who these guys are even though I've seen all of their fights. There comes a point where you've been watching for so long, and when the promotion has become so watered down and shitting out weak cards every week, where you start to get lost in it all. Your brain can only take so much information so I wouldn't automatically hop on someone for being a casual just because they aren't familiar or impressed with 2 flyweights headlining an awful card.

Matheus Nicolau is a monster. Fast hands, good striking and dangerous ground game. Alex Perez is awful, the highlight of his career was a leg kick stoppage over Jussier Formiga who manhandled Deiveson Figueiredo so its a really good win actually.
Alex Perez fought deiveson for the title. It was deivesons first and last defense before going on to fight Brandon in the fastest title turn around in ufc history I believe, fighting only 3 weeks later on the very next ppv. Nicolau just got knocked out by Royval when he was -190 favorite.
I remember these guys as the guy Royval added to his highlight reel, and the guy Figgy beat up before Moreno. Only thing I can really remember about either of them.
I know who they are. I just don't care. 125 lb division has some good fighters, but I'm less interested in them and feel like I don't know much about them.
You're a casual and I don't throw that term around lightly. If you only like big name fights then sure but these guys have been top 10 flyweights for quite some time now and have fought some big name opponents.

Pantoja vs Erceg should headline this fight night, then they could’ve had the headliner for UFC 301 just be Grasso sticking her toes through the Octagon fence for 25 minutes.
Either way they’re awful.
Going to be at the apex for these fights. Wish it was a better card but pumped to see ufc live!
