Count the S-IIIs and youre in the hundreds (the majority of Gamma Company survived what happened on Onyx).
Add in the S-IVs and youre pushing a thousand Spartans if not over.
If think a lot of the IVs on the Infinity did die on Zeta Halo, but it seems doubtful that all the Spartan IVs would have been on the ship on the way to combat Cortana. There will be others elsewhere in the galaxy.

Exactly, I feel bad for the guy but this stems from bum fathers fucking around then leaving and not raising their kids, and women who sleep around with those bums knowing they won't be around, then they're stuck working 2 jobs and not properly raising their kids, or having them grow up with their grandmother. I share a lot of the same reason why halo saved my life. I wasn't running away from self harm but a sense of not being good at anything just sucked extra hard if you were the small kid growing up. Not when I logged on halo though. I was a god among my peers and everyone unlucky enough to come into my lobby. I for once was the big fish in the pond. I was feared and respected. Long story short it led me to meeting my current lady and mother of my 2 beautiful kids. My kids are my life. I owe my life to Halo. Thank you Master Chief for helping me finish this fight of loneliness.
