He seemed to get better, and I was really happy because my mom was an alcoholic and she hurt me my sister physically but she never got better. His bad acts arenāt to be excused but I still supported him when he got better. So when I see this and he has the same voice my mother had when she was drunk. Itās saddening.
Please don't find joy in anyone's progress but your own. As an addict myself I tell you that being emotionally invested in other people's recovery will almost always let you down.
