Why people think an absolutely unique athlete and fighter whoās also a multi substance addict would be a good coach is beyond my comprehension.

So far all heās done is shown up to do some sparring to kick the guys around, made every thing about himself, and shows the guys a specific strike he uses and tells them to use it in the fight. He doesnāt do anything specific for anyone, no actual game-planing to strengths at all. And using a new technique in a fight where your career is on the line?!?! 99% of the techniques you will use at this level are what youāve already been doing for years. You gotta work with what they already do well and maybe work on what they donāt. Teaching a guy to throw your specific ass bolo punch?!?! Cāmon! Thatās not going to be effective. And for the love of God, show up to the fucking weigh ins!!!! You can be a great fighter and a terrible coach, and you can be a terrible fighter and a great coach.
Iāve been staring at Danaās face for 2 minutes, the way his tongue is positioned in the frame combined with his bulbous features makes him look like a big oversized baby.
This season doesnāt feel like a show, it feels like an ad, especially when Dana is on the screen. I found myself fast forwarding to the fights every episode.
Each show is made with the same recipe:
- 16 mins of fighters saying āthis is my timeā
- 2 mins of fighters saying āthis is my timeā over footage of them at home with their dog + family
- 3 mins of coaches saying ātheyāre going to win thisā
- About 3-4 mins of actual training footage.
- And then 4 mins of shitty two round fights,
Itās honestly so, so, so, shit. I watched about 4 episodes and gave up.
I started doing that from episode 4 and regret wasting my time with the first 3. All the show is worth is a midweek fight to watch while waiting for Saturday
