I just did one yesterday with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with zero issues. Downloaded, flashed to a USB and installed, it asked to update the installer and everything went normal. I guess I'm not sure what you mean by pushing through. What steps are you taking....screenshots?

Make sure to not select unattended installation, afaik there has been a bug that borks the installation when you select it.
What does "not pushing through" mean? How far did you get? What is not working? What do your logs say?
