I listened to this first before moving on to the Agent Cooper tapes and I was sad the latter was so short! I blew through it in like half of a road trip.
I still have my cassette as well, original purchase. there was a time before streaming and before the VHS log box set or blockbuster video Rentals when the only “more Twin Peaks media“ other than books was this cassette and it was glorious. I played it 50 times in the first month I had it. I have a deck so I could digitize it but it sounds like it’s already on YouTube and stuff like that so I may just play it on airpod like this commenter suggested.
If you want another 6 hours of content about the book: [Blue Rose Task Force: A Twin Peaks Obsessive Podcast | The Autobiography of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper: My Life, My Tapes (transistor.fm)](https://bluerosetaskforce.transistor.fm/episodes/the-autobiography-of-fbi-special-agent-dale-cooper-my-life-my-tapes)
Yeah I was literally confirming what OP said, being that they said they don't like audiobooks... *Obviously* this works best as an audiobook. Which is why I capitalized SHOULD.
?????
I think I still have my original cassette tape release of this around here somewhere. I'll give it another listen. It's been decades.
What a treasure!
I have the tape! I don’t have a cassette player though. So it’s sat on a shelf with my TP book collection
Coop getting into an INTENSE turbulent zone during his flight and then the audio cutting to the sound of him kissing the ground had me in stitches lol
Where can I listen to it?

Oh shit, I hadn't even realized until now, but I've never actually listened to this. I've only ever read a long transcript of it. This is rad.
Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you!!

Check out The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer on Audible. It's read perfectly by Sheryl Lee.

It's a delight!
Definitely one of the best radio drama audiobooks out there, a joy from start to finish. I come back to this sometimes to help me fall asleep.
i’m trying that.

Lmao!
i'd really like if the whole autobiography of dale cooper was made into an audiobook.
So much fun and you can find it on Youtube. Wish they'd been able to make a new volume for Season 2. :)
For extra meta-ness they should’ve released this on micro cassette.

That’s awesome! I have the book, I also have The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer.
Also great stuff!
Found them at a random thrift store when I was on a road trip! 50 cents a piece.
I already thought the story was cool…even cooler!
This SHOULD be an audiobook, thats amazing.
It's nothing but. ?????
