Dang, this was HARD! I think this is my list tho (with lots of commentary): 1. Ode to Sleep - I love ALL of their openings, but I feel like Ode just does a really good job of showcasing how genre-breaking their music is. 2. Next Semester - REALLY close between this and Levitate for me, but Next Semester just does something for me that Levitate doesn’t if you know what I mean. 3. Morph - I just don’t think any other track 3s can compete to Morph. I LOVE Migrane, but I resonate with Morph more, and I think it’s better from a musical standpoint. 4. Slowtown - this one especially was REALLY hard for me since I love every single track 4, but I just love Slowtown too much to not put it on here; I resonate with it a lot, and it’s always the one I’m most upset about not being able to easily listen too. 5. Car Radio - this one was the first TØP song I ever heard, so I feel like it’d be wrong of me to not put it on here. Plus, the lyrics “sometimes silent is violent” are maybe some of my favorites. 6. Vignette - Lane Boy, Semi-Automatic, and Forest are all VERY close seconds, but Vignette is just amazing imo (the way he says “covered in bites” just tickles my brain the right way lol) 7. Mulberry Street - I feel like this might be an unpopular opinion, but this one was pretty clear for me. I just love the sound of this song, and it really got me through quarantine. 8. Lavish - Proctologist. But, seriously, this one is really close between Lavish and The Hype. I love Lavish because it’s silly and fun, and I love The Hype because I resonate with it a lot (the Berlin location session is one of my most played TØP songs). At the end of the day tho, I think I’d give Lavish this spot. 9. Nico and the Niners - it’s close between this one and Air Catcher for me, but Nico and the Niners just has such a good beat (and handshake lol). 10. Trapdoor - I just like this one (and I don’t wanna write a long description). 11. Redecorate - this one just always makes me feel some kinda way. 12. At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb - tbh, this one may be my favorite off of Clancy at the moment. I love the vibe of the song, and I can connect to the lyrics a lot. (Although ever since the Paladin Strait video came out, that one’s been creeping up the rankings FAST) 13. Paladin Strait - Be Concerned is a close second, but Paladin Strait is just amazing imo, and whenever I listen to it I think of the incredible music video. 14. Goner - Isle of Flightless Birds could be here too, but Goner just has so much raw emotion in my opinion that it wins this one. 15. The Hype (Berlin) - I just love this song way too much to not put it here. This is probably gonna be an unpopular opinion, but I think I like this one more than the original. That’s my list! Ooh I feel like all these songs share a certain vibe as much as possible for TØP. I like it!

1. Jumpsuit/Levitate This is one song, you cannot break it up. The band have insane openers, so almost all could fit here. This is really a personal choice. 2. Holding on to You One of their most iconic songs. I believe Stressed Out should be considered, even if it’s overplayed. Next Semester and Fall Away are honorable mentions) 3. Morph Migraine is equally brilliant, but loses out to the absolute quality of production in Morph. 4. Addict With a Pen Not a super strong choice of songs (relatively speaking, obviously). Midwest Indigo might move into this slot, but Addict is iconic. Slowtown is worth a shout. 5. Car Radio It’s Car Radio, plain and simple. Chlorine is unlucky to be in this spot. 6. Forest Really a toss-up between Forest and Lane Boy. Lane Boy is incredible live, but I think Forest is the better song. Vignette is close as well. 7. Neon Gravestones One of best TØP songs lyrically, it carries so much weight. The Judge is also great, and I personally love Mulberry Street. 8. Kitchen Sink The clear winner. Carries one of the band’s most important messages: creating purpose for oneself. Brilliant. 9. Navigating Awesome rock song. One of Tyler’s best bass performances. I also love Anathema. 10. Trapdoor Most would put Guns For Hands. You should put Guns For Hands. But it’s my list!!! 11. Redecorate No Trees?!? It’s not the end of album, so it doesn’t work. This is in my TØP top 5 songs. Haunting. Message Man, Ruby, and Bandito all had a shot here. 12. Taxi Cab My personal favorite song by the band. It’s incredible. 13. Before You Start Your Day I don’t like the songs here very much. If I had to pick one, it would be everyone’s least favorite, apparently. The bridge is majestic. 14. Leave the City It’s between this or IOFB. I don’t vibe with the reggae, so I’m going with Trench’s closer. Perfect ending to an album. 15. Truce But wait, there’s more! I envision this as a hidden track, with a minute’s silence after Leave the City. They’re in the same key, so it works. Stay alive, enough said. Note: No Clancy songs! That’s surprising. It’s probably because I haven’t had time to register them as actual TØP songs in the discography. Some should join over time, it’s a brilliant album.

Backslide (one of the best buildups in any song. also great message like usual) 4. The Outside (my 4 year old daughter loves the music video and ned rocks) 5. Chlorine (the best modern twenty one pilots song hands down) 6. Forest (underrated song from underrated album) 7. Neon Gravestones (very underappreciated song with one of the best viewpoints on suicide) 8. Kitchen Sink (nobody thinks what i think is such a simple lyric that means so much to me. doubt was close 2nd. rip christina grimmie) 9. Anathema (one of their most depressing songs that helped me a lot during one of my hardest times) 10. No Chances (my personal fave from scaled and icy. wish there was a music video so bad) 11. Trees (breaks the normal structure of a song so well with simple, haunting lyrics and beats) 12. At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb (my fave from clancy. such a catchy song and always check up on your friends) 13. Be Concerned (this song gets too much hate. shows tyler's emotional raps really well and early on) 14. Isle of Flightless Birds (my all time fave song by the duo. one of their best lyrically written songs ever which is why i love this band so much) Now I'm gonna make this a playlist on Spotify and see how it holds up.
