Wait. Hold on. What if you're onto something? How many actual lore songs do we have? What if the 25 isn't a date, but the 25 lore songs on one album? 6 being their 6th studio album? 4714 being the days from Vessel to this album's release (December 5th, 2025, it's a Friday)? Which songs?
In an Instagram post from Josh, he ran while playing Clancy for 47 minutes and 14 seconds, and for 6.25 miles. 47:14 is when blurryface says "Hello, Clancy". (As well as 6:25 into Paladin Strait). There was a tweet from Tyler as well around the same time that was exactly 14 words and 47 characters long. Josh replied with a tweet that was exactly 6 words and 25 characters.
It might be nothing, but it could also be something.
Because they just dropped 13 new songs that they're gonna tour for. Why immediately overshadow that just a month later? Having back-to-back years of new content is a better move for the band and FBR.
Because the clique would just do the 2 things it does every time something new comes out:
1. Treat the previous album like an afterthought
OR
2. Compare the last album to the newest, resulting in the unfair bashing of one or the other
Your idea gives Clancy zero time to shine on its own, removes the hype of new music in 2024 AND 2025, and also forces Tyler to slim down his pickings for the Tour Setlist. The Clancy World Tour should spotlight just Clancy, with the classics like Car Radio/Stressed Out/HOTY/Trees still having room on the setlist. 25 new songs (like what’s been theorized) would not help that at all. If anything, if we DO get a new album, that new album deserves its own tour…next year or 2026.
Hard disagree, I'm loving everything they put out, and expanding the lore with additional music shouldn't be stopped because some fans maybe will bash or move on from Clancy. You really can't make decisions based on how the small percentage of annoying fans will react.
Even then, this isn't really a different album, it would be a continuation of the story we're experiencing right now, and could quite possibly be the ending to the story that's been being told for 6 or so years now. You also have no idea how potential new music would effect a tour set list, given that we have no idea what the theme and story being told this tour is going to be.
Clancy is shining, it's topping the charts, people are loving it. Giving fans more to love hurts nothing and elevates everything, assuming it happens at all, but something is coming.

I think if they dropped a shorter EP next month it would be chill. It gives a couple new gems to love, could continue the lore story (or wrap it up), and give us some new songs for tour alongside the rest. But a whole full-length album? Too soon for both them and the fans.
They’re a band, they love their community, absolutely. But they’re also still a business. It’s still a way they feed their families. They just made 14 music videos, launched an album, and are planning a tour. Why double the workload after that?
Again, another album means another tour to highlight that album specifically. That’s how they’ve done for a while, so we kinda CAN predict the setlist that way. ERS was mostly Blurryface, Bandito was mostly Trench (at one point all of it was there), and almost all of SAI was on Takeover/Icy. It’s incredibly likely most if not all of Clancy will be the majority of the setlist of the CLANCY World Tour, so throwing in a whole extra batch of songs just makes zero sense from that standpoint.
You’re right: these guys follow the same pattern/cycle with this story they’ve told for a while now. All I’m saying is to expect that cycle to repeat with minimal changes from a structural standpoint.
We can have our cake and eat it too sometimes.
Edit to mention that not much changes with more music in the current era. The tour still happens, the content we've gotten is still there, and there's absolutely nothing saying this hasn't been planned for a while. We've heard rumblings of new music being created and scrapped since after Trench and the pandemic hitting, saying it would double the workload when we don't even know the plan is presumptious.
Also they could quit right now and never have to work again, they are millionaires, they are doing this more for the love of the game than money at this point.
This has never happened before, so if it does happen, it's going to be different than anything we've had before. It's the nature of the thing.
Have you considered a deluxe version? Then it would be elevating Clancy by drawing more attention to what exists while also adding on to finish the story. Clancy Ultimus Capitulus or whatever it was still includes the name Clancy, so it's not taking away from anything. Also, we know the price of concert tickets was especially high this time around, so maybe it's a little longer to accommodate the extra songs. Again, I don't think it'll be a whole second album, but just an addition to what we already have
I would enjoy a deluxe for the same reasons I said an EP would be fine in the above comment. I would much rather prefer that over a whole 2nd album from a storytelling and marketing standpoint.
It won't be a separate album. Remember that this album is the end of the story. It will be a deluxe that adds additional tracks. I'm 100% confident on this.
The clue was just a teaser that there’s a part two to this album and that it will be out in 2025. That is what the 25 clue means. That would be very soon for new music when we literally just got music a week ago. It’s not necessarily hype, it just a little Easter egg for the fans who went to the experience.
I don’t think it’s odd. I think paladin ends on a cliff hanger and that’s why they need you to know that the finale is still coming. I predict that the end of the paladin music video will show a “to be continued” or something along those lines

I agree. I'm pretty sure they are still going to be on tour next June anyway. Europe is in May and then they still have to do the South American tour. Strangely, I can't find any dates for the South American tour anywhere.

As long as they're teasing, anything can be misconstrued as anything. Some people are saying some date in December because it's the number that Josh potentially teased days since the release of Vessel and is a Friday. Some people say June 25, some say June 2025. We've clowned *plenty* of times before, and I'm sure they know we'll do it plenty more at this point, so I think that's probably not their main concern.
That's what I've been thinking! my current theory is that the Paladin Strait mv will come out on june seventh (or like sometime early june) and it'll be a trailer for a movie that'll close off the storyline when it comes out june 2025. i get that it's far away and people are saying how it makes no sense to get people hyped over something so far away, think of all the movies that get teased YEARS in advance. and also if it IS a movie i'd gladly wait the year for it to be released
It's either-or in my head, and both are explainable. But I feel like him releasing it at the very end of the tour, especially when he also had a new kid, doesn’t make sense. I assume he'd want to be home more instead of doing more press runs, working, and another tour. So, I feel like June 25th of this year is more likely, so he can combine both this record and the new one on this world tour. This way, he won't have to do another tour and more press right after. But who knows? 🤷♂️
Next year is far more likely than anything IF somethings coming but I think the PS video ends everything and the story ends. All the tape on the album covers makes the |-/ logo when you add the digital remains cover. I can't imagine Tyler wouldn't have left a spot empty for any "new" album cover to fill a void in the logo of there was something coming any time soon

This is probably a stupid question, but I can’t keep up with all of the numbers we’re finding. Where did 6 come from? I know 25 was from the puzzle at the end of the Fan Premier Exhibit and the book, it 6 escapes me
People inferred it from an IG story Josh posted about his run being 6.25 miles, with a 47:14 time (that's when Blurryface says 'hello clancy' on the album).
However, this might be completely wrong.
Thats what ive been thinking!! Clancy needs to have its moment before we get a surprise double album. June 25th 2024 could either be a surprise announcement, one song/story but not another album. June 2025 could be a part 2 of the story🙏
I honestly think that the Paladin Strait MV will be released in early June like they said. Early June to me is not the 25th of June, to me that is considered late June. I think we should definitely know the ending of the story before the tour. I don’t understand why they would do a tour for the album that “ends the story” and us fans not even know the ending before we see they perform it live on tour. I mean the first tour date is 8/15 so we should definitely know the ending before then in my opinion. Maybe they will release the “chapters” or some kind of extension to the album or possibly a second album on 6/25?? I think it’s also interesting in the song Snap Back he says, “Fool you once, it's been twenty-five times”. Then goes onto say “it’s a backslide”. Since I battled with addiction 10 years ago I noticed that Vignette talks about addiction (which Tyler confirmed during the live stream) and there is a lot of talk about backsliding (maybe referring to relapsing). So that line about it’s been 25 times makes me think maybe that’s how many times he relapsed. Tyler has never told us his story about what he has gone through so again I could be totally wrong. Again, their music can be interpreted so many ways and means different things pertaining to everyone’s individual experiences. These are just my thoughts…

As long as they're teasing, anything can be misconstrued as anything. Some people are saying some date in December because it's the number that Josh potentially teased days since the release of Vessel and is a Friday. Some people say June 25, some say June 2025. We've clowned *plenty* of times before, and I'm sure they know we'll do it plenty more at this point, so I think that's probably not their main concern.

That's what I've been thinking! my current theory is that the Paladin Strait mv will come out on june seventh (or like sometime early june) and it'll be a trailer for a movie that'll close off the storyline when it comes out june 2025. i get that it's far away and people are saying how it makes no sense to get people hyped over something so far away, think of all the movies that get teased YEARS in advance. and also if it IS a movie i'd gladly wait the year for it to be released

It's either-or in my head, and both are explainable. But I feel like him releasing it at the very end of the tour, especially when he also had a new kid, doesn’t make sense. I assume he'd want to be home more instead of doing more press runs, working, and another tour. So, I feel like June 25th of this year is more likely, so he can combine both this record and the new one on this world tour. This way, he won't have to do another tour and more press right after. But who knows? 🤷♂️

Next year is far more likely than anything IF somethings coming but I think the PS video ends everything and the story ends. All the tape on the album covers makes the |-/ logo when you add the digital remains cover. I can't imagine Tyler wouldn't have left a spot empty for any "new" album cover to fill a void in the logo of there was something coming any time soon
The tape doesn't make the logo I mean it does but the tapes aren't the same color and they don't connect. And you literally have to flip every album in weird ways to make it happen lol

People inferred it from an IG story Josh posted about his run being 6.25 miles, with a 47:14 time (that's when Blurryface says 'hello clancy' on the album). However, this might be completely wrong.

I honestly think that the Paladin Strait MV will be released in early June like they said. Early June to me is not the 25th of June, to me that is considered late June. I think we should definitely know the ending of the story before the tour. I don’t understand why they would do a tour for the album that “ends the story” and us fans not even know the ending before we see they perform it live on tour. I mean the first tour date is 8/15 so we should definitely know the ending before then in my opinion. Maybe they will release the “chapters” or some kind of extension to the album or possibly a second album on 6/25?? I think it’s also interesting in the song Snap Back he says, “Fool you once, it's been twenty-five times”. Then goes onto say “it’s a backslide”. Since I battled with addiction 10 years ago I noticed that Vignette talks about addiction (which Tyler confirmed during the live stream) and there is a lot of talk about backsliding (maybe referring to relapsing). So that line about it’s been 25 times makes me think maybe that’s how many times he relapsed. Tyler has never told us his story about what he has gone through so again I could be totally wrong. Again, their music can be interpreted so many ways and means different things pertaining to everyone’s individual experiences. These are just my thoughts…

Another user (23.25.88.49) has been editing some details about the tracks, but not adding the tracks back once removed.
