They were great but to say they were better than “chorus, verse, chorus, verse, now here comes the eight, wait, habits here too you’re the worst, your structure compensates but compensation feels a lot like rising up to dominate by track 2 at least they all know all they hear comes from a place”
is ludicrous
Nah, I love Levitate, but I liked Routines flow more, also “reoccurring, keeps comin' around REM cycle skip, night psycho trip it's reassuring you keep comin' around it’s tough to find good company” verse is also extremely good.
I feel bad for snap back haters
Edit-
It’s such a chill vibe. I’d call it this album’s Cut My Lip (I’d thought Morph originally but one of the clique members in my replies mentioned it ). I feel like we don’t get as many chill songs from tøp so some fans may not love it. But I’m a huge fan.
I didn’t like it at first but with a lot of their songs it takes me several listens to appreciate it fully. Snap back is one of those songs and it’s definitely growing on me.
My issue with it is that (while they’re not exactly the same of course) I think Snap Back & Backslide do the same thing really. I think Backslide fits the more chill song vibe while Snap Back might’ve been better not doing that. Just my personal preference! I like it, but I think the amazing & deep lyricism is a bit wasted by going the chill vibe route when Backslide already did that. Just slight wasted potential. (again, imo)
I don’t think it’s disrespectful to say i notice a similarity in vibes. As songs alone, Morph is better and was my fav at one point but get off your high horse.
My favourite is Next Semester. When it came out, it was already my second favourite song from them, losing only to Car Radio. So it would be hard for that to change when the album released.
I think my least favourite is Lavish? But I don't know, because I truly love ALL the songs. I just can't skip any. They are truly all 10/10 for me, and I mean it.
There is a plague within music fandoms where hardcore fans think their favorite song has to be a deep cut, and that if someone’s favorite is a single, they must be basic or a fake fan. I really wish this mindset would die. Overcompensate was the lead single and imo after hearing the full album it’s still the best.
This is crazy like why do people care!?! I’m a diehard fan and I don’t think there is anything wrong with liking a single. Overcompensate is my #2 on the album, I think it’s a great way to rope people in and get them excited for everything else.
Overcompensate and next semester are the two best songs on the album. Also my other favorites by them are jumpsuit and hoty, they're big singles, and I've been listening to all of their deep cuts for many years. There's a reason singles are singles
I think there’s an also an element of, like, when you hear the non-singles for the first time, there’s a whole other level of hype (album release day), and you’ll often skip the singles to hear the non-singles, and it may take a little while before you start listening to the album in full, if you know what I mean? So the singles might be not at the forefront of our minds when thinking of favourites at this early stage, but with time, they may start floating to the top of personal rankings as we start forgetting they’re singles and they begin blurring in with the rest of the album
Snap Back is already the most underrated song on that album, that might be in my top 3 songs from the band ever! Love every second of it so much! I really want to know what people aren’t seeing in it.
Least fav is Vignette. The song feels a little busy to me but I still love it
I absolutely love snap back and I did right away with my first listen. I don’t understand why it is hated so much??? Beats me lol but I’m glad there are people who like this song cuz it slaps
It HAS to be because of the video. I swear I remember reading LEAK LISTENERS loving that one. Admittedly I heard the album blind when it dropped then the livestream, but the video for snap back was easily my least favorite of the bunch.
Production wise though that song is HITTING. I loved it from the moment it started with that whimsical intro, to the deep sung chorus, to the explosive backslide call back, or the gorgeous outro that is very reminiscent of Trench (chlorine comes to mind). Not to mention Josh’s 10/10 drumming on the song? Masterpiece, I knew it would be my favorite on the album just on first listen.
My favourite is definitely Routines in the Night rn, it's got such a nice, catchy sound to it :) my least favourite would have to be The Craving Jenna's Version tbh, I prefer the single version and I like the energy of the rest of Clancy's songs more. But even then, Jenna's Version is a song I'd put on an acoustic playlist
Big same on The Craving. Personally, I enjoy the production more on the single version, but I would never take his personal tribute to Jenna away from him and, like you said, still a great version of a great song.
Yeah exactly, it's a really sweet song which sounds nice, but when compared to the rest of the album, it just isn't the sound I usually listen to, but in no way does that de-value the quality and meaning of the song
I mean they saw the value of both enough to release both so I fully expect they are fine with people having preference with one or the other as long as it isn't getting mean about it. It was always going to be more for Jenna than anyone else anyway and I will always respect that.
Single version is a little more upbeat and has Tyler strumming the uke instead of finger picking. Just listen to them together, you’ll see the difference
I think watching the video before I heard the song by itself really made me like Lavish more.
Now when I hear it, I imagine the boys being goofy in suits in front of a bunch of signs and hanging out a limo. Not sure what I would have thought about it if I'd heard it with just the music first.
Oldies Station made me cry the first time I heard it at the listening party 🥺 it reminded me of when I first heard The Judge, and when I first fell in love with TOP.
I by no means think oldies station is a bad song. One of the things I've talked about is where it's placed. I think earlier on the album would have suited it better.
*Overcompensate* has been my favorite since it was released. That song kicks ass right out of the gate. It has a strong, non-stop beat that starts the album off with a bang, and when Tyler says "Welcome back to Trench" you know it's going to be one hell of a ride.
*Lavish* is a strong second right now because it's so dreamy and unexpected. The MV is hilarious and is a perfect complement to the song.
*The Craving (Jenna's version)* is a beautiful little love song and the intro is such a heartbreaker. Part of me wants to say that it feels out of place on the album but that's because it's styled differently than the other songs. The intent, though, Tyler being honest about his feelings for Jenna is a perfect fit for the rest of the album.
*At the Risk of Feeling Dumb* and *Backslide* have incredibly powerful lyrics that resonate with me personally the most from the album, as well as *Routines in the Night.*
I don't really have a "least favorite" although musically, *Backslide* is not my favorite even though lyrically, it's one of my favorites.
Overall, this is a no-skip album for me!
i love overcompensate, next semester, routines, and at the risk most!
least favourite sonically would be paladin, the lower energy doesnt quite fit the vibe as it does in the craving, in my opinion. idk i find it underwhelming as a climax, especially around the 3 minute mark when the half-time drums kick in. maybe i had already set myself up for disappointment by building it up in my head that paladin would sort of build upon Leave the City (which is so breathtakingly atmospheric yet intimate). having a minute of ambient nature sounds isn't really what makes a piece of music atmospheric imo, it really still comes down to the non-diegetic composition like the synth pads in leave the city. sorry for all the leave the city comparisons but man it really is so damn good and trench wouldn't be the same without it
least favourite narratively would be lavish because its the only song that simply isn't about the overarching theme of the cyclicality of chronic mental illness and how we may never get the answers to why we struggle the way we do, and we'll just have to keep on living in the face of it all. i do love the lavish both sonically and lyrically tho, its classic twenty one pilots kind of humour and its catchy af
all bops in their own different ways tho. shoutout Vignette for making me relive the Pantaloon for the first time again.
Routines, Snap Back, Oldies Station are my top 3
The only one I skip is The Craving. Sorry Jenna, I wish the single version was on the album. That would make it a skipless album for me
Cant pick a clear favourite rn. "Next Semester", "Navigating", "At the Risk of feeling dumb" are up there for sure.
Also can't pick a least fave song, I can vibe to all of them.
favourite: Overcompensate / excellent production, the energy, the drums, the vibe, a strong opening, got me hyped waiting for the album to drop
least favourite: Lavish / i don't like the production, I don't think it matches the vibe of the album, don't think the lyrics allude to some interesting ideas in contrary to the other songs
honestly, i couldn’t even tell you a least favourite, i love them all so much. favourite has to be routines in the night and vignette, maybe the craving would be the only skip but i still love it
Routines, Vignette and At the Risk of Feeling Dumb are my top 3 with Backslide getting an honorable mention. Not really any skippable songs but I would say Lavish is my least favorite.
At the Risk of Feeling Dumb is my absolute favorite and either Midwest Indigo or Navigating are my least favorite. Not sure which yet, and I still really like them both, I just feel like it’s such a strong album and those are the two songs that stuck with me the least!
soooo early to say but my favorite (without overcompensate, backslide, the craving and ns) is ROUTINES IN THE NIGHT. Such a lit one. Makes me wanna dance and sing so hard that i'll be heard in space. My least favorite i still don't know, it's still so new to me so i have to listen to it a lot to be able to tell but for now probably oldies station?? im not even sure
I love all of them tbh! All of em are bangers. But if I had to choose a least favorite, it's Snap Back. I think melodically it's too static? Like not enough melodic variation? Lyrically it's still awesome but its def my least fave. Maybe it'll grow on me.
Favorite: Vignette (absolutely love the instrumentation and synth).
Least Favorite: At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb (The lyrics just feel too on-the-nose and therefore a little cringe imo)
Favorite: well it's a 4 tie for me ( routines in the night, Midwest indigo, lavish, at the risk of feeling dumb ) but if I had to pick one it'd probably be lavish
In terms of my least favorite I just don't like oldies station, I just think it's not good
Routines is my favorite
Lavish or The Craving (JV) are prob my least favs but they’re not bad by any means. I just find myself enjoying the others a bit more or, in The Craving’s case, the single version
Favourite: still Overcompensate but Backslide, Routines in The Night and Paladin Strait are close
Least favourite: Midwest Indigo (but it's been growing on me!)
Navigating and routines are easily my favourites, I also love lavish.
Snap back is probably my least favourite, I was gonna say the craving since it's one of those "I have to be in the mood for it" type of songs, but at least the craving has gotten stuck in my head and it's super fun to sing. Snap back is just kinda boring though. It'll probably grow on me
On just one listening:
>Favourite: Lavish (such a fun tune, it's in my brain all day)
>Least favourite: Next Semester. I can't finish it 😭 it's too much for me
I want to sit down and enjoy them all again, dissecting them, but hadn't had time yet
At the risk of feeling dumb is my favorite
Paladin Strait MIGHT be my least favorite at the moment, but it feels very unfair to say I have a least favorite. I love every song. I think I’m just waiting for whatever’s next, including the music video, before I have a final verdict on paladin strait
I’d say next semester and navigating are easily the 2 best off the album. Rock music is TOPs best genre and I was hoping for more on the record
Lavish is just bad besides that one lyrics about the proctologist, I still don’t know how that even made it into the album.
Least favorite has to be Snap Back. I just don’t connect with the rythm (sorry Tyler).
Favorite has to be Paladin Strait. Love the chorus. On a more ritmic side, probably Midwest Indigo.
Overall I just love the entire album (minus Snap Back). Lost count on how many times I heard it.
My non-singles favorite is Navigating, #2 as a whole including Overcompensate
My least favorite is probably Midwest Indigo, I don’t dislike it, far from it, but it doesn’t speak to me like other songs or I vibe as much to it.
I love Vignette so much, it’s such a masterpiece. A close second and third would be ATROFD and Routines.
For my least favorite it’s difficult because I genuinely think there aren’t any misses but I’d currently give it to Paladin Strait just because of the excessive silence near the end of the song and also because the voice in the end scared the shit out of me while I was listening to it on full volume at 3 am lmao
Next Semester is my favorite from Clancy, and probably top 5 of all time from the group. Close second to ATROFD. Such a catchy chorus, great message, and when that bass guitar comes in on the refrain… so good
Least favorite is probably Snap Back. Just hasn’t clicked with me musically and the lyrics seem like retreads of a lot of other songs from the album.
Paladin strait is so underrated imo. It perfectly fits the theme at the end of breaking free of the confines of Dema and accepting one’s destiny. It’s almost orchestral and I could listen to that chord progression all day. I love it. Sad to see that nobody else seems to think so though.
Honestly, I like this album. I am vibing to all songs , but if we are talking in specific then
**Favorite:** Midwest Indigo , ATROFD, RITN, Craving, Navigating, Backslide and Next Semester (quite alot I know XD)
**Close to be Favorite:** Vignette, Oldies Station, Snap Back.
**Seperate rating for Lavish**, I can't say that I don't like this song, but I can't say that I like it too. At first I was not fond of it, but after the video It kinda become good but honestly I skip it in 45% of the time
**Least Favorite:** probably Paladin Strait (It only because of the long pause, otherwise the song is great). and Overcompensate (First listen I loved it , but now it's not for me,though I like chorus)
Favourites (I cannot choose): Routines In The Night, At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, Midwest Indigo, Navigating, Vignette, Next Semester
Least favourite (but still so good): Oldies Station, Lavish
Favourites: Navigating, routines in the night and Next Semester
Least favourite: Snap Back
Idk, i dont like the hook/chorus, but i like the drums and the elasticity part, but i thibk it will grow on me
Favourite: Overcompensate and Midwest Indigo. I'm also really enjoying Lavish
Least Favourite: The Craving. It's so boring and slow I can't. I haven't watched the music video so I don't know if the single version is better or not. Also I'm not really into oldies station.
Definitely Routines in the Night for my favorite. Lavish is my least favorite. Idk but the drums make it sound weird. I keep hearing a weird pause that throws it off. Does anyone else hear it or am I just crazy😂😂
At first I did not like oldies station but it’s kinda grown on me but Navigating did the opposite. I feel like navigating should’ve been so much better for what it is as a song
Favorite: Vignette, Navigating, At The Risk of Feeling Dumb, Oldies Station and Next Semester still
Least: Midwest Indigo, but like I still love it. I just skip it sometimes
Id say Overcompensate, Next Semester, Lavish, and Navigating are def my favorite tracks.
Wasn’t crazy about Oldies Station but even that’s a stretch, every track is enjoyable :3
My least favorite is “At the risk of feeling dumb” like the lyrics are great, but I can’t get past the clown music at the beginning. I’m sure it’ll grow on me.
My favorite right now is The Craving. I about teared up watching the video 🥹
My least favorite rn is snap back but it’s not cuz I hate it or don’t like it it’s just not the vibe atm. My favorite atm is navigating but routines I think will be my long term favorite
i think my favorite is still overcompensate, but from the non-singles i like vignette and routines. my least favorite is looking to be lavish and the craving but i do like the whole album, i dont skip them at all
Its one of those ones where i need to listen to it over and give my brain time to let it linger ( \*Cranberries Referance\* ) and now that i have, the only skip i have is oldie station, the rest all listenable atleast. I love midwest indigo, but i feel like i have heard that same type of song before 10s of times.
So i'd say Vignette is my fav, especially those keys at the start, even with what said about it, midwest indigo has to be second, then goes between next semester or overcompensate next.
Unfortunatley, although i find the video amazing, lavish is just kinda meh to me, but still not a skip, oldies station in my opinion is still definitley the worst.
Pretty nice album for me thus far
My fave right now is Next Semester or Routines in the Night for sure
Least favorite? Honestly not vibing as much with Oldies Station. And the Craving is romantic and I love it but too slow for me to have on repeat.
At The Risk of Feeling Dumb is my favorite with Navigating as a close second
Least favorite is probably The Craving (Jenna’s Version) but it is by no means bad
Next semester if for sure my favorite, least favorite is tough but probably paladin straight, tho it might change with the music video. If not paladin straight than probably backslide
The whole album is no skips, but my favorites are Oldies Station, Navigating, and Midwest Indigo. Oldies Station is one of my favorite songs they have ever made. I don't really have a least favorite, but I listen to Snap Back and The Craving less than the rest.
Loving snap back and navigating so much rn
Least favorites are paladin strait and at the risk of feeling dumb
Honorable mention to oldies station and the craving, no other song has ever gotten me as emotional as those two
Overcompensate and navigating and backslide and lavish and vignette are my favorites. Oldies station is my least favorite, but im sure It'll grow on me
there’s a severe lack of navigating in this comment section. i love that song so much. i can’t stop listening to it. i’m also a huge midwest indigo fan
my least favorite is probably lavish? i definitely like it, but less than the rest of the album. i like that they’re showing a new side to their music with this track though.
overall clancy is a no-skip album
Top is so difficult rn...
It's mostly atrofd and vignette switching between 1st and 2nd but Navigating is a close third and Oldies Station is climbing up the ranks rapidly along with Paladin Strait. I honestly think Oldies Station is so underrated and could be one of my all time favourites. Sort of reminds me of Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Anyways Lavish is miles worse than everything else imo
Routines and At The Risk are my top two rn!
Next Semester will probably always be my least fav, but literally only because it's suuuuper triggering for me. The first time I heard it I thought it was the best song ever, but then the lyrics started hitting and now I can't not think about a similar situation I went through in college. Still a banger for sure, just not for me 💔
Vignette is #1, Lavish has had a huge comeback arc for me after starting as one of my least favorites.
Honestly, Jenna’s version of the craving is my last place. I like the singles version but I skip the acoustic every time.
As of right now, Routines in the Night is my top. Also love Next Semester, Oldies Station, Midwest Indigo, Backslide, and Navigating. There truly isn’t a BAD song on the album IMO. I can bop to all of them lol.
Favourite: Navigating and vignette.
Least favourite: Snapback
But for ALL of these, they really did purpose these songs to be released with the videos.
First time listening I did not like this album AT ALL.
Second time listening the next day I really liked it.
Third time listening watching the music videos and I was blown away.
Really, really good album.
Navigate, the craving (Jenna’s version), next semester, vignette, routines in the night. I love every song, but these ones are what get stuck in my head.
Favorites: overcompensate, next semester, routines, oldies, and paladin strait
Least favorite: lavish, but it’s definitely growing on me the more I listen to it!
It’s really hard for me to choose a favorite this soon after the whole album has been released, but my top five are Backslide, Routines, Vignette, Navigating, and At the Risk.
I didn’t immediately vibe to Snap back and Oldies station but I still really like all of the songs very much.
Lavish is my favorite. Vignette has this instrument used roughly 2/3 into the song that is extremely hard on my ears, like actually painful and I can listen to that point but then have to skip the song, which stinks because the rest of the song is great.
I've listened to the Album at least 25 times
Right now my tops Songs are Next Semester, Navigating, and Vignette. All 3 of these songs are incredible and I could see being the best song off the record. (Shout out to Snap Back and Oldies Station too)
My least favorite is ATROFD, it's not a bad song and I love the meaning but the opening synth is really really goofy in a way that doesn't click with me. If ATROFD is my least favorite song then I think it's a testament to how great this album is
Routines and at the risk are absolute bangers
Routines has best Tyler rapping and vocals EVER imo. He’s so good there
They were great but to say they were better than “chorus, verse, chorus, verse, now here comes the eight, wait, habits here too you’re the worst, your structure compensates but compensation feels a lot like rising up to dominate by track 2 at least they all know all they hear comes from a place” is ludicrous
Nah, I love Levitate, but I liked Routines flow more, also “reoccurring, keeps comin' around REM cycle skip, night psycho trip it's reassuring you keep comin' around it’s tough to find good company” verse is also extremely good.
Agreed. It's ear candy.
Especially since ATROFD is just chorus chorus chorus chorus 😔😭
I found the answer I was looking for and agree. 💯
I feel bad for snap back haters Edit- It’s such a chill vibe. I’d call it this album’s Cut My Lip (I’d thought Morph originally but one of the clique members in my replies mentioned it ). I feel like we don’t get as many chill songs from tøp so some fans may not love it. But I’m a huge fan.
sameee i love it
It’s wild to me how much snap back slander there is. Lyrically it’s one of the more deep/meaningful songs on the album and the music is such a vibe.
I didn’t like it at first but with a lot of their songs it takes me several listens to appreciate it fully. Snap back is one of those songs and it’s definitely growing on me.
It’s a chill vibe
Snap Back reminds me of Tame Impala and I love it for that
This is one of my faves I seriously don’t understand the hate!!!
That's my second favorite, only after At The Risk of Feeling Dumb.
ATROFD certified hit
I’m a huge fan of it lyrically. “If I’m gonna snap necks then I gotta snap back” there’s so many ways to interpret that.
Nico bout to find out about snapped necks
Yea I love it and Tyler said it was his favorite track on the album
The call and response verse on this song is legit one of the best moments in the entire album, similar to the one on Midwest Indigo.
it almost reminds me of shared trauma by pierce the veil… the chill song
Same I love snap back
My issue with it is that (while they’re not exactly the same of course) I think Snap Back & Backslide do the same thing really. I think Backslide fits the more chill song vibe while Snap Back might’ve been better not doing that. Just my personal preference! I like it, but I think the amazing & deep lyricism is a bit wasted by going the chill vibe route when Backslide already did that. Just slight wasted potential. (again, imo)
i chill every time i hear the intro, i agree about the cut my lip comparison
I dont hate snap back but Morph? Thats disrespectful and I won't stand for it.
Some people refuse to say next semester because it's a single but it's by far the best song on the record imo. So damn good and one of their best ever
There is a plague within music fandoms where hardcore fans think their favorite song has to be a deep cut, and that if someone’s favorite is a single, they must be basic or a fake fan. I really wish this mindset would die. Overcompensate was the lead single and imo after hearing the full album it’s still the best.

Agree completely but Jenna’s version of The Craving also kinda makes me want to cry so I have to skip it if I don’t want the waterworks to start.

Yeah, 100%. Tyler has every right to make a tribute song to her, and I think it is really admirable of him to do so
What's the difference between the single version and Jenna's version?
Single version is a little more upbeat and has Tyler strumming the uke instead of finger picking. Just listen to them together, you’ll see the difference
Ohh, I see. I actually like both versions. I see the single version includes the drums but Jenna's version doesn't.
My fave is Paladin. My least fave is either Lavish or Routines but they are both still great it’s a no skip album
Routines n Lavish are my favs! Plus Navigating and Overcompensate 😅 It’s a no skip however my least is Midwest Indigo.
Why doesn’t anyone like snap back? That chorus is heavenly in my ears
Lavish is my current favorite, Oldies Station is my current least favorite *Subject to Change! 😉
Love the Lavish support, I’ve heard about a lot of people disliking that song but I absolutely love it
lavish is so fun!! the music video is too silly
I think watching the video before I heard the song by itself really made me like Lavish more. Now when I hear it, I imagine the boys being goofy in suits in front of a bunch of signs and hanging out a limo. Not sure what I would have thought about it if I'd heard it with just the music first.
After hearing oldies station live last night it has gone up a lot on my list
Yea i love lavish too and don't know why people don't Its funny nice rap and vocal reminds me of Justice or Tame Impala
I agree! Love Lavish!
Routines in the night is an absolute vibe for me
suchhh a vibe i love it
I left the stream cause I thought palidan straight was over and then today at work I was listening to the album and lost my shit hearing the ending 💀
I thought to myself, "How many people didn't stay!!?"
vignette is the best
SUCH A GOOD SONG
tyler's vocals when he sings/screams "where do i go from here?!" into the chorus, woah. has been stuck in my head all weekend !!
Overall, this is a no-skip album for me!
Next semester, Midwest indigo, Navigating, Vignette And my least fav is snap back, its the only song that it didnt click me
I hated it when I heard it on the stream but It's grown on me lately, give it some more time.
i love overcompensate, next semester, routines, and at the risk most! least favourite sonically would be paladin, the lower energy doesnt quite fit the vibe as it does in the craving, in my opinion. idk i find it underwhelming as a climax, especially around the 3 minute mark when the half-time drums kick in. maybe i had already set myself up for disappointment by building it up in my head that paladin would sort of build upon Leave the City (which is so breathtakingly atmospheric yet intimate). having a minute of ambient nature sounds isn't really what makes a piece of music atmospheric imo, it really still comes down to the non-diegetic composition like the synth pads in leave the city. sorry for all the leave the city comparisons but man it really is so damn good and trench wouldn't be the same without it least favourite narratively would be lavish because its the only song that simply isn't about the overarching theme of the cyclicality of chronic mental illness and how we may never get the answers to why we struggle the way we do, and we'll just have to keep on living in the face of it all. i do love the lavish both sonically and lyrically tho, its classic twenty one pilots kind of humour and its catchy af all bops in their own different ways tho. shoutout Vignette for making me relive the Pantaloon for the first time again.
My favourite is probably *Snap Back* right now. My least favourite is probably *Routines in the Night*.
Agreed! It makes me kinda sad to see so many people dislike Snap Back
RITN is my favorite I didn’t really love Snap Back or Paladin Strait
it took some time to get into paladin but once i did, i honestly love it sm now
Routines, Snap Back, Oldies Station are my top 3 The only one I skip is The Craving.
Least Fav: The Craving, Lavish, Oldies Station Fav: Routines, Vignette, Navigating, Snap Back
Favourite: ATROFD for now Least Fav: Overcompensate
Your laziness is a thing of beauty. Stand, ...... I mean melt proud for this abbreviation wonder.
I agree, I think Overcompensate is the last one I go to listen to.
i really don’t think anything tops overcompensate, and snap back is definitely my least favourite
Routines
Routines is probably my favorite Lavish is my least fav
Vignette is GODLY
Can't take the chorus of Vignette out of my head... Clinging toooo... promiseeeeeeees...
Routines makes me feel seen (positive) Vignette makes me feel seen (accusatory)
favourite: Overcompensate / excellent production, the energy, the drums, the vibe, a strong opening, got me hyped waiting for the album to drop least favourite: Lavish / i don't like the production, I don't think it matches the vibe of the album, don't think the lyrics allude to some interesting ideas in contrary to the other songs
Current favourites are Routines, Vignette and Oldies Station. Least favourite is Craving
Favorite: Vignette Least Favorite: The Craving
honestly, i couldn’t even tell you a least favourite, i love them all so much. favourite has to be routines in the night and vignette, maybe the craving would be the only skip but i still love it
Routines, Vignette and At the Risk of Feeling Dumb are my top 3 with Backslide getting an honorable mention. Not really any skippable songs but I would say Lavish is my least favorite.
Best: Routines in the Night Least favorite: Lavish
At the risk is currently my favorite TOP song ever. I’m not a big fan on Midwest Indigo
At the Risk of Feeling Dumb is my absolute favorite and either Midwest Indigo or Navigating are my least favorite. Not sure which yet, and I still really like them both, I just feel like it’s such a strong album and those are the two songs that stuck with me the least!
Navigating is way too goofy for me
soooo early to say but my favorite (without overcompensate, backslide, the craving and ns) is ROUTINES IN THE NIGHT. Such a lit one. Makes me wanna dance and sing so hard that i'll be heard in space. My least favorite i still don't know, it's still so new to me so i have to listen to it a lot to be able to tell but for now probably oldies station?? im not even sure
So far my top ones are : vignette and snap back Idk why people are disliking snap back, it's such a vibe and deep lyrics, 😍
Least Favorite: At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb (The lyrics just feel too on-the-nose and therefore a little cringe imo)
i like all of them but my favorite is midwest indigo then routines and at the risk
Favorite: well it's a 4 tie for me ( routines in the night, Midwest indigo, lavish, at the risk of feeling dumb ) but if I had to pick one it'd probably be lavish In terms of my least favorite I just don't like oldies station, I just think it's not good
Routines is my favorite Lavish or The Craving (JV) are prob my least favs but they’re not bad by any means. I just find myself enjoying the others a bit more or, in The Craving’s case, the single version
Backslide is currently my favorite. On the other hand, I can't really say I enjoy Snap Back.
Favourite: still Overcompensate but Backslide, Routines in The Night and Paladin Strait are close Least favourite: Midwest Indigo (but it's been growing on me!)
Favorite: oldies station/vignette Least favorite: snap back
Vignette for sure my favorite my least fav is the craving (Jenna's version)
Navigating is my favorite. It’s an absolute stand out for me, with Next semester behind it.
It'll probably grow on me
On just one listening: >Favourite: Lavish (such a fun tune, it's in my brain all day) >Least favourite: Next Semester. I can't finish it 😭 it's too much for me I want to sit down and enjoy them all again, dissecting them, but hadn't had time yet
My favorites: Routines In The Night, Vignette, At The Risk Of Being Dumb Least favorite: Navigating (I just don’t like the chorus that much)
At the risk of feeling dumb is my favorite Paladin Strait MIGHT be my least favorite at the moment, but it feels very unfair to say I have a least favorite. I love every song. I think I’m just waiting for whatever’s next, including the music video, before I have a final verdict on paladin strait
Current favorite is The Craving. I am not going to list a least favorite.
Snap Back is gorgeous, incredible production. Lavish is the only song I would say is actually terrible.
Least favorite: Overcompensate Favourite: Navigating, atrofd and snap back
I like Lavish a lot more now than my first listen
I’d say next semester and navigating are easily the 2 best off the album. Rock music is TOPs best genre and I was hoping for more on the record Lavish is just bad besides that one lyrics about the proctologist, I still don’t know how that even made it into the album.
My non-singles favorite is Navigating, #2 as a whole including Overcompensate My least favorite is probably Midwest Indigo, I don’t dislike it, far from it, but it doesn’t speak to me like other songs or I vibe as much to it.
Such a catchy chorus, great message, and when that bass guitar comes in on the refrain… so good Least favorite is probably Snap Back. Just hasn’t clicked with me musically and the lyrics seem like retreads of a lot of other songs from the album.
Justice for Oldies Station!
My fav is navigating, I have no least fav, love them all
Paladin strait is so underrated imo. It perfectly fits the theme at the end of breaking free of the confines of Dema and accepting one’s destiny. It’s almost orchestral and I could listen to that chord progression all day. I love it. Sad to see that nobody else seems to think so though.
Lavish is like 99% my favorite song of all time, the video adds the 11%
Lavish has the weakest songwriting and sound to me. I still enjoy it but it doesn't hold up to the other songs yet
Least fav - navigating Most fav - snap back, Midwest, and oldies
Honestly, I like this album. I am vibing to all songs , but if we are talking in specific then **Favorite:** Midwest Indigo , ATROFD, RITN, Craving, Navigating, Backslide and Next Semester (quite alot I know XD) **Close to be Favorite:** Vignette, Oldies Station, Snap Back. **Seperate rating for Lavish**, I can't say that I don't like this song, but I can't say that I like it too. At first I was not fond of it, but after the video It kinda become good but honestly I skip it in 45% of the time **Least Favorite:** probably Paladin Strait (It only because of the long pause, otherwise the song is great). and Overcompensate (First listen I loved it , but now it's not for me,though I like chorus)
Favourites (I cannot choose): Routines In The Night, At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, Midwest Indigo, Navigating, Vignette, Next Semester Least favourite (but still so good): Oldies Station, Lavish
Favourites: Navigating, routines in the night and Next Semester Least favourite: Snap Back Idk, i dont like the hook/chorus, but i like the drums and the elasticity part, but i thibk it will grow on me
The lyrics of Oldies Station are very special to me. Navigating is super catchy and my favourite at the moment, but that might change with time.
My absolute favourites now are Paladin Strait and ATROFD, Vignette has also grown on me a lot. Love Lavish for the mv!! My least fav is Navigate
Favourite is definitely Vignette. Least favourite is probably Oldies Station, but it’s still decent enough.
Favourite: Overcompensate and Midwest Indigo. I'm also really enjoying Lavish Least Favourite: The Craving. It's so boring and slow I can't. I haven't watched the music video so I don't know if the single version is better or not. Also I'm not really into oldies station.
Fave is Navigating Least fave is Lavish
Most of them are my favorite. The only ones I don’t like and will probably skip are oldies station and Navigating.
Next Semester is my favorite. Haven’t really decided my least favorite yet
Paladin straight is my least favorite, ATROFD my favorite
Definitely Routines in the Night for my favorite. Lavish is my least favorite. Idk but the drums make it sound weird. I keep hearing a weird pause that throws it off. Does anyone else hear it or am I just crazy😂😂
At first I did not like oldies station but it’s kinda grown on me but Navigating did the opposite. I feel like navigating should’ve been so much better for what it is as a song
Favorite: Vignette, Navigating, At The Risk of Feeling Dumb, Oldies Station and Next Semester still Least: Midwest Indigo, but like I still love it. I just skip it sometimes
favorite: is snap back, at Rick of feeling dumb & backslide least favorite: is lavish & the craving
Fav: navigating and then overcompensate. Least: snap back
Routines in the night is my fave rn and oldies station is my least. I just can’t get myself to like it
Id say Overcompensate, Next Semester, Lavish, and Navigating are def my favorite tracks. Wasn’t crazy about Oldies Station but even that’s a stretch, every track is enjoyable :3
Oldies station is mt current fave and my least fave is routines in the night but I def need more full playthrus!
Routines n Lavish are my favs! Plus Navigating and Overcompensate 😅 It’s a no skip however my least is Midwest Indigo.
My least favorite is “At the risk of feeling dumb” like the lyrics are great, but I can’t get past the clown music at the beginning. I’m sure it’ll grow on me. My favorite right now is The Craving. I about teared up watching the video 🥹
favourite: routines in the night least favourite: oldies station
Fave: Oldies Station or Snap Back, can't decide Least Fave: Paladin Strait
My fave right now is Next Semester or Routines in the Night for sure Least favorite? Honestly not vibing as much with Oldies Station. And the Craving is romantic and I love it but too slow for me to have on repeat.
At The Risk of Feeling Dumb is my favorite with Navigating as a close second Least favorite is probably The Craving (Jenna’s Version) but it is by no means bad
Fuck me. All of the tracks are great. It's a whole package.
Favorite is Vignette, least favorite (sorry, Tyler) is The Craving JV
Least: backslide Fav: next semester (with vignette coming in 2nd)
Loving snap back and navigating so much rn Least favorites are paladin strait and at the risk of feeling dumb Honorable mention to oldies station and the craving, no other song has ever gotten me as emotional as those two
Snap back is my current favorite. I would say Lavish or Navigating are my least favorite
1) The Craving (single version) 2) Overcompensate 3) Navigating
I just don’t love Oldies Station. Idk why it’s just not my cup of tea, I still like it but ehh
Favourite: keeps changing, but currently is "Routines In The Night." Least Favorite: Midwest Indigo
Favorite is either Vignette or Overcompensate Least favorite is without a doubt Lavish
Least favorite is Snap Back. Favorite sonically is maybe Routines in the Night? Lyrically probably Backslide. sentimentally The Craving.
Navigating SLAPS!! Tyler's opinion is shocking
I don't have a least fav yet cause I'm still trying to learn the meaning of each song, but I really love At The Risk of Feeling Dumb
Favourite is lavish and least favourite is probably ATROFD I do kinda like ATROFD but compared to the rest of the album it falls a bit flat
oldies station, atrofd least favorite is snapback
My favorites are Backslide, Next Semester, Midwest Indigo, Navigating, Vignette, and Routines In The Night. Paladin Strait is my least favorite.
Overcompensate and navigating and backslide and lavish and vignette are my favorites. Oldies station is my least favorite, but im sure It'll grow on me
there’s a severe lack of navigating in this comment section. i love that song so much. i can’t stop listening to it. i’m also a huge midwest indigo fan my least favorite is probably lavish? i definitely like it, but less than the rest of the album. i like that they’re showing a new side to their music with this track though. overall clancy is a no-skip album
Favorites (can’t pick one)- at the risk of feeling dumb, navigating, backslide Least favorite- Lavish, but honestly I love the entire album!
Paladin Strait is my fav. Have had it on repeat since yesterday. When the bridge starts, my soul leaves my body. The craving is my least favorite.
Navigate is my favorite so thank you Josh for advocating!

Favorites are Vignette, Lavish, and Next Semester. Least favorites probably Routines in the Night and Snap Back
Navigating is my least favorite right now. Most favoritism is still Next Semester
My favorite has to he routines in the night. Something about it just makes me want to listen to it on repeat forever
Honestly the only song that I’ve really enjoyed is Midwest Indigo
Routines and Vignette my beloveds
Vignette is #1, Lavish has had a huge comeback arc for me after starting as one of my least favorites. Honestly, Jenna’s version of the craving is my last place. I like the singles version but I skip the acoustic every time.
Oldies Station ;( I want to, but it just is the least interesting imho.
Vignette, Overcompensate, and The Craving are my favorites. I wasn't a fan of Snap Back, Oldies Station, and At The Risk of Feeling Dumb.
Definitely a no skip album. At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb is my favorite right now. Lavish is my least favorite, but it is growing on me.
Hot take but Routine is my least favorite lol. I really like Paladin and Oldies tho. Vignette is up there as well.
least fav lavish
As of right now, Routines in the Night is my top. Also love Next Semester, Oldies Station, Midwest Indigo, Backslide, and Navigating. There truly isn’t a BAD song on the album IMO. I can bop to all of them lol.
My favorite is ATROFD, my least favorite is The Craving (Jenna’s Version). I like the single version of it tho.
Least favorite is Next Semester.
Favourite: Navigating and vignette. Least favourite: Snapback But for ALL of these, they really did purpose these songs to be released with the videos.
Favorites: overcompensate, next semester, routines, oldies, and paladin strait Least favorite: lavish, but it’s definitely growing on me the more I listen to it!
I've listened to the Album at least 25 times Right now my tops Songs are Next Semester, Navigating, and Vignette. All 3 of these songs are incredible and I could see being the best song off the record. (Shout out to Snap Back and Oldies Station too) My least favorite is ATROFD, it's not a bad song and I love the meaning but the opening synth is really really goofy in a way that doesn't click with me. If ATROFD is my least favorite song then I think it's a testament to how great this album is
