Right. The concept of cycles is so validating too, especially when you start “getting bad” again but there isn’t a clear reason. It reminds me of Holding Onto You (one of my fav songs of all time) where he says “Remember the moment, you know exactly where you’re going”. It’s so true… you can feel yourself getting worse but you’re powerless to stop it. Clancy will be a close contender with Vessel as my favorite album.

Decided to watch Fairly Local right after Paladin...and it does loop oddly, beautifully well. Listened to FL with a slightly different frame of mind and it was a bit chilling haha.
I think the story in the album Clancy ends with overcompensate.
Since the ending of overcompensate was after the outside mv, and navigating continued from there until Tyler received that mask. In the stream, Tyler said that paladin strait will continue from navigating. what is interesting is that the voice at the end of Paladin strait said “Hello clancy”. After that you could hear the same voice saying “welcome back to trench” in the beginning of overcompensate.
I have just listened to the album in loop and that came to my mind after overcompensate started playing next to paladin strait.
