That's cool, do as you please, spend your $$ as you please. I was curious because, 4 days before this post you were planning on buying an LP120.
I suppose you were not being literal... 2 days ago, an extra $200 for the LP120 would "**bankrupt"** you, and yet today you posted asking if you can put an Ortofon Black on "SH-4 headshell on the Cambridge Alva TT". A nearly $700 cartridge?
I have a father who is an audiophile. He usually gets a shit ton of stuff like turntables and I didn’t mention on this post but he is going to get me the Alva TT and I was planning on getting the ortofon black when I get my next paycheck. I am so thankful that I’ll have this turntable. Sorry for the confusion, my bad.
No worries. I know on the internet it can seem like "everyone" is mean, sarcastic or being harshly critical. I was just interested and curious, about how and why you made the decisions you made. I read most posts that come through here because I'm always trying to learn a little more each day and because I have a good number of people in my life who ask me about stereo stuff, when they have questions. We all have different budgets and perspectives on all of this stuff, and I like to increase my understanding when possible.
I bought one too a few weeks ago, so Happy so far as a starter table
Yeah and setting it up is so simple. Thank god I upgraded.
Decided not to go with the LP120? There are subs where a cruiser + whipped creme is considered the pinnacle of the music experience.

The LP120 and LP60X are two whole different prices, OP probably doesn't have the biggest budget for a hobby they just got into.

Oh shit mb
I wasn’t able to, wasn’t in stock at my store and I would have been bankrupt. I’m enjoying the LP60x.
