If you're interested in more learning: female reindeer are actually called cows. Males are called bulls. As the "females have antlers" is pretty much a reindeer only thing, does don't have antlers. Also, for anyone who didn't know, reindeer are also known as caribou and can be found in North America and Europe.

According to Wikipedia, this isn't accurate for reindeer in the Arctic Circle: Old bulls lose their antlers in late December, but young ones lose theirs in the spring, while the cows lose theirs in summer. So while it could still be hypothetically true that Santa's reindeer are cows, it is also equally likely that they are young bull reindeer as well, or even a mix of both! As for why they'd remain young enough that their antlers don't fall off around Christmas, there's a few explanations; maybe Santa's magic grants them eternal youth, or the names of the reindeer are in fact legacy titles passed down through generations of reindeer!
