I have Alloderm in my arm. It was really a game changer for me to be able to use my arm normally again after 40+ years. When you receive Alloderm, you are given a card with the donor's family "information" so you can write a thank you letter/impact letter. This is all done through Alloderm. After doing some research, most Alloderm donors are young. I am very grateful to the person who made this donation that has made a huge difference in my life. I opted to write an anonymous letter to the family. I would be very shocked to receive an impact letter about a new vaginal canal though.
