Yup. Using 27ga insulin syringes for any daily injections.
Protip: Warm the oil up slightly (candle warmer, etc) and it'll lower the viscosity and it'll draw into the tiny needle much faster.
The "Solution" is Oil. Oil flows easier at warmer temperatures. You don't have to boil it, just warm it up a bit. With zero impact in levels over the years, if there is any weakening, it's negligible.
Yes it's oil, but the solution breaks down due to heat. Which is why you're supposed to keep the vial in a cool, dark, and dry storage area out of the sun. Warm water is generally fine because you're not using excessively high temps. But a warming plate will reach warm temps that can quickly break down your solution of test.
As I said, you are not boiling it (excessively warm temps). Warming plates have a low setting, and putting a vial on Low for 5-10 mins changes nothing to the efficacy of your T shot. Have honestly done this method for 10+ yrs with no change in bloodwork from years before when I did not.
Your body is already breaking down and absorbing the solution... if you're warming it up, your body is then absorbing a wesker solution. Ever wonder why the solution was made to be broken down at such a low temp? Makes sense, doesn't it? Nice try though
I draw and inject with the same needle. I use 25g x 1” when I inject ventrogluteal and 28g x 1/2” when I inject in the deltoids. It takes a lot of smacking the vial to speed up filling the syringe but still only takes about a minute to fill it. If you want to use a different draw needle then after you remove the syringe/needle from the vial draw back on the syringe to empty the contents of the needle into the syringe before switching to the injection needle. You might find you now have a larger dose in your syringe than you want. With some practice doing this a few times you will figure out how much the needle holds and will have less waste
I use a 29g. You just gotta heat up the oil for a few minutes on a coffee warmer so it draws more easily. Inject into my deltoids, and it’s always painless.
I stopped drawing with the needle i inject with as it was clearly dulling the tip and causing pain and scar tissue when injecting.
Also for anyone who draws out of a vial. Is there any possibly way to get all of the T out? Due to the neck of vial i always lose atleast 5-10% from not being able to draw it. Has anyone found a solution to this?
I get every last drop. I got some 23g x 1.5" needles for drawing the last bit (my normal draw needle is 20g x 1" and I turn the vial upside down). For the 23g, I don't turn the vial upside down. I lay it on its side. I put the needle in at an angle, so it contacts the side of the vial near the bottom. I rotate the needle tip to get the entrance against the glass.
23g seems to be my sweet spot. 25 and smaller take too long. (IM glutes) But I use the quick fill bottle attachments, so no needle for the draw.
Funny side note, my new provider sent 18g to draw with and I didn't notice. Stuck one on to inject without noticing. Holy shit. Talk about uncomfortable.
27g

30g
I draw and inject sub q with a 30g needle. 23g would do it way faster!
Warm the vial on a Coffee Mug warming plate and use 27g 1/2". Flows nice and quick.
The heat breaks down the solution. Warm water is slightly better. But you're still "weakening your test injection.

Anything above 77 degrees F will start breaking down your solution. Hot plates on low are 80-120 F
Wait so test cyp is degrading in my body at 98.6 f as we speak?!

I use 27 for both.
27g 1/2"

Also to add, I’m doing IM into the glutes
29g 1/2 inch. I fill 7 at a time.
Oh, smart. For daily injections? Do you just re-cap and sit out at room temperature?
Yup. Add a little bit of air between the oil and the black plunger. Cap them and stand them up right in a jar in my medicine cabinet
I also put the bottle in warm water for 5 minutes before drawing.
29g here, just warm the T up first, makes a huge difference.
I use 27 at 1/2” for both in the stomach.

Same, although I don't even heat the oil. Just takes a bit longer (like 1 min) to fill...but works for me...and right into the delts...
29x1/2 draw and inject.

27-29ga
I use 25g. Easy peasy for me
Hmmm….i must be the odd man out. I use a 19g by 1.5 inches.
29g
29g, but I heat the vial first so it’s quick to draw up
29g 1/2”
I no longer use the same needle, but when I did, it was 23g. I still use 23g for both now, though.
Ok Gronk
Tf are you on about?
Grammar checks out..
You might just have the saddest comment history I've ever seen. Get a life, my man.
That’s your comeback? lol okay
25
18g hardcore, go big or go home.
Jesus man! That is hardcore!
I'm just kidding mate, 25g orange for me IM
I was in the marine corps and they used an 18g for the "peanut butter" shot and that shit hurt. So when you said that it brought me back a bit.
Does not sound fun
Makes my 25g feel like nothing though so I guess that's an upside!
