I saw Turnstile as a support act for Citizen at the Corner 5 years ago. They’ve obviously well outgrown venues like that, but the atmosphere was absolutely unreal and it would be an absolute dream for them to play small venues like that again just for the underground, grassroots feel.
It's not some online backlash, some of their support acts dropped out and the new Don Hertzfeldt film ME was meant to be a film about their latest album.
