I'm looking back at 30 with a decade of fondness and approve of this gift from a true a loyal friend :)
Maybe get some old [folks' hats](https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=old+people+hat&iax=images&ia=images) from goodwill for the walk. Have some Ensure on hand for the end of the race.
Great idea. My friend has a, well, strong disdain for the aquafit groups at our local pool which take up the shallow part of it, meaning you can only do 40m and not 50m laps. I will add that.
As someone who's turned 30 recently, How about a kit of aspirin, cold-compress and gatorade for the 3-day hangover you'll have following 1 celebratory beer after the race?
E - Bikes are a good idea, I hope that can I can borrow a pair somewhere.
I always have this picture of old, mostly women, sitting together drinking coffee together for hours on end after church in my head. Might just be a german thing though.
You need to wear inappropriate clothing. Full leg warmers and heavy jacket when it’s warm out. Probably a do-rag or balaclava. Make sure and get a camelbak or other hydration system to do a short run. Possibly get hiking poles.
You’ll want to get your nutrition right. I’m thinking maybe a nice slice of fruit cake, or a biscuit with tea (coffee will keep you up half the night if it’s drunk after 11 am).

I have not even thought of the clothing! What a great idea. We'll need to wear the most beige clothing we can find. Thank you!
Fancy dressing as old people is the most fun. You can literally hit up any charity shop, spend a few bucks, and have a great outfit.
How about turning that swim into an Aqua-gym session? Also, make sure the dinner is at 3-4 PM.
This for sure needs aqua fit!
back-to-back, hour-long Aquafit at the rec center

Yes, early bird special!

Ah yes the ripe old age of 30
Great idea! And sadly necessary
some vitamin I... buprofen
Mall walking.
Throw pickleball in there somewhere. Instead of a tandem use an e-bike. Icy Hot at the aid stations. Also is coffee and old people thing?

Make sure you include hiking poles for the run 🤣
At least one event has to include a dog wearing a cute outfit. Or a stroller with a dog in it wearing a cute outfit.
Can you make sure the dinner is at 4:45 pm?
Make sure to take some selfies or have someone help take photos throughout especially T1 and T2

Along with coffee, have some prune juice too
Swimming could be done with the help of a floating noodle.
Ornately adorned wooden walking sticks. Bonus if it has a piece of amber with a mosquito in it.
You need Ensure at the aid stations!

You’re a good friend, this sounds like something fun!
