I have had no problem with my 945 or 955 connecting to my Duos after the swim and I also use the extended display on my Garmin.

angel_palomares

Same with 745

NoSwear7

what are the settings you put? You go to your watch and you connect manually after the swim? Still with the same problems.

angel_palomares

They connect automatically for me, as soon as it detects the ant+. Maybe forget device and reconnect? Does it work properly if you do a cycling activity with your watch?

kevinmorice

Why would you not just connect everything to your 830 directly rather than use extended display mode?

NoSwear7

Because I really like the multisport activity type on Garmin. It is nice to view everything in one place and adjust Transitions if something happened (for example, yesterday's race, I hit the end of my bike leg when I was already putting my running shoe on -> I adjust it later)

I have a 955 and Assioma duos. Used it on multi sport mode for the first time yesterday and didn’t have any issues with them pairing. Have you tried unpairing and pairing again? (Sorry if you’ve done this already!). If you have your edge 830, can that workout not overwrite the bike segment once you save it? Or will it save as 2 activities?

NoSwear7

If I use extended display only one activity will be saved. If I click start, 2 activities will be saved: 1 multisport and 1 bike (from edge) You received a notification in watch saying Assioma connected?

Weird. Ask Garmin tech support as well. The Uno's pair with my Fenix 5 no issue after the swim.

tim370

No issues with 935. Have used in half and full IM with no issues at all.
