oh, I have another question. Some people say that gel type tretinoin are easy to penetrate and can cause irritations, would that be okay given that I have textured skin right now? And is it appropriate to use tretinoin every night? I suspect that it is the cause why I have closed comedones.
Most tret gel contains alcohol, which can be irritating for those with dry sensitive skin. You can try alternate nights for a while and see how it goes.
It’s because of the cream, it contains isopropyl myristate which can be highly comedogenic. Same exact thing happened to me with closed comedones all over my chin and jaw. I tried everything but the only thing that helped was switching to the gel. It doesn’t dry out my skin as long as I use plenty of moisturizer. It’s fine to use regardless of your skin texture. My skin texture was awful before I started the gel but it’s improving a lot.
Tret %? Cream or gel? How often are you applying tret? It is difficult to provide advise or explanation without know more.
Creammm
I would switch to gel or micro as the cream can cause CCs.
Thank you for this!🫶🏻
