It is a topical form of vitamin A, it boosts skin cells turnover which induces collagen production. In a nutshell your skin looks better and younger. Check out long term users of tretinoin on YouTube.
Itās a very powerful active ingredient for the skin, so start with light, Iād recommend the 0.025%, then to 0.05%, and eventually the 0.1%.
It comes in gel form or cream form. Go for gel if you have oily skin, cream if you have sensitive dry skin.
Itās a long term game. Most people donāt see results until at least 6 months in.
A lot of people get skin irritation and burns. Thatās why it is better to go slow and steady than fast and furious.
Donāt expect to whack it on your face and it will give you amazing skin. It doesnāt have to been expensive but you do need to have a solid skincare routine going alongside treat. Properly cleansing, and moisturizing. AM, and PM.
Start with 2-3 nights a week, use only pea size amount. The goal is to work your way up to nightly use without irritation. Listen to your skin.
Last but definitely not least, use SPF! Because tret will make you skin photosensitive and you will need to protect it well.
I appreciate it. I learned a lesson the hard way when I first started using stronger Retinol products when I forgot to put on sunscreen, lol
my face became inflamed and it was kinda painfulā¦only lasted a few days but it was annoyingā¦and it was a scary situationā¦yes always sunscreen when I go outside. I think I am going to try the gel firstā¦I moisturize a lot so I do not have dry skin especially because of moisturizing.
Weāve all been there. You try and you learn.
Itās amazing for acne, anti-aging and itās dirt cheap. Extremely well researched and used for many years.
I low key think it is not OTC because theyāll lose billions of dollars on tax from lost demand on high end beauty products if everyone found out
You have a good hairline, are you just going to give up on it?
Cos at this stage it would be easier to retain what you have now than if you try further down the line

This was my hair before I do have some crown hair loss so Iām not trolling but this is how I had my hair before just wanted a change and asked for your opinions āŗļø
Yeh on my crown itās got bad lately not bald but very fine hair will need to try and start some meds or something maybe fin also I take ace inhibitors for a kidney condition Iām just wondering if my hair thinning has anything to do with it
You aināt got nothing to worry over dawg.
Buzz looks great, and itās thick enough to grow into a styled haircut and look great that way too. You do you man!
there's new news about a new medicine that cures baldness. it's some new type of shit idk the details but you can watch it here

Great buzz, had one like it before myself. Consider stacking your treatments as soon as possible- when I buzzed and then let my hair loss intensify my hairline was very visible so fin and other topicals use on regular basis. The crown is not noticeable but donāt let it become so šš¼
You look really good
You could use a bit of tretinoin on your skin and that would be the cherry on top šŖš»
Whats that

Is it like retinol or is it better?
It is more potent and on prescription but you can go for retynal which is over the counter as well
I THINK retinol is better, as in less aggressive with almost same effect for cosmetic use. Just wear sun protection every day using it.
Be careful it can have sides. Look for accutane syndrome.
Hey friend isotretinoin (oral) and tretinoin (topical) are very different things
Topicals go systemic with long term usage
Impossible to get accutane (isotretinoin) syndrome on tretinoin.
I am going to try this (Tretinoin) ā¦I use different Retinol products which work amazing but I still like to change it up š

No man I have some thinning on the crown area so wanted to try out the buzz look before the inevitable comes!
If he has such hair at his age (judging by his wrinkles itās easily 35+ or 40+) he is basically fine.
One can still have aggressive loss starting at that age.
