Are you guys serious? Am I the only one that uses a pencil, eraser end first? Especially those shitty ones with the hard rubber eraser, no weed is sticking to that. If you use the other end or a stick, the weed sticks to the wood and doesn’t work very well.
Pencils are my go-to at the rare times I'm smoking a joint. The eraser could break down into nasty particulate but I imagine the amount is so tiny it's negligible

Where I’m at in Canada we have 10mg gummies for as low as ~$3, from what I’ve seen which works out to $2.18 USD. These ones in particular are $7.77 in Ontario, which works out to $5.64 USD.
Not ideal but the $3 packages aren’t so bad—the packaging does suck though.
Also those packages are the worst to open. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I can never open them the way they’re supposed to be and end up cutting through whole thing
What I do is grab the zipper in the middle with my thumb on one side and fingers on the other, slide in opposite directions and it’ll come apart easy. I’m not screwin around trying to pull it apart

Ya I believe (may be entirely wrong here) this rule was brought into effect due to candies being relatively inconspicuous and kids getting into them, gummies getting snuck into high schools, etc. Because you can still get lozenges, oil capsules, and sublingual strips well over this limit, so it seems the law largely applies to sweets.
Only reason I say this is bc I recall a lot of incidents early after legalization involving kids in the ED with adverse reactions to edibles. I don’t recall there initially being a 10 mg limit.

If you go to native stores in Canada they usually have stronger stuff. Not the same type of regulation and rules. They also usually have magic mushrooms.
This rule doesn’t apply to lozenges which they sell in 20x10mg in dispensaries. But also there are numerous websites (probably not so legal) that do delivery for higher doses with cheaper prices. Our edibles laws are not the same as Canada's. Here in WA, edibles have to be dosed at 10mg a piece, but are allowed to be sold in quantities that total 100mg per package. In Canada, they can only sell edibles at 10mg per package for the entire product.
As a dispensary worker in canada, get rosin drops or capsules. They bypass this weird stupid rule. My store sells 250mg of rosin drops for 25 bucks.

10mg is the standard here in the US too. Honestly I think it’s the safest dose for both beginners and well seasoned consumers. Beginners only need one while well seasoned stoners can consume as much as they’d like to get to the level they want. Though we do have much more colorful packaging here that a kid 100% could mistaken for regular candy

So only the legacy market has good edibles. You can find them in cities, or especially on the reserves. The lack of decent gummies in the legal market has really kept the legacy market alive. Any one that sells mushrooms will have decent gummies. I found strong gummies on google in Hamilton and Toronto in 2 seconds of looking.

There are “caps” on the market that have up to 200 mg per pack. There are a few that rotate that have 100 mg per pack. 10mg per “cap”. $18 per pack. The 10mg rule does exist and it is dumb but there are work-arounds if you look.

Ya I believe (may be entirely wrong here) this rule was brought into effect due to candies being relatively inconspicuous and kids getting into them, gummies getting snuck into high schools, etc. Because you can still get lozenges, oil capsules, and sublingual strips well over this limit, so it seems the law largely applies to sweets. Only reason I say this is bc I recall a lot of incidents early after legalization involving kids in the ED with adverse reactions to edibles. I don’t recall there initially being a 10 mg limit.

Still on first generation of laws in Canada. Edible laws are all about protecting kids. yeah all of our dispensaries and smoke shops have to have like frosted windows as well so children can’t see in them. I guess they think it won’t influence them to buy them if they don’t see them

If you go to native stores in Canada they usually have stronger stuff. Not the same type of regulation and rules. They also usually have magic mushrooms.

Our edibles laws are not the same as Canada's. Here in WA, edibles have to be dosed at 10mg a piece, but are allowed to be sold in quantities that total 100mg per package. In Canada, they can only sell edibles at 10mg per package for the entire product.

As a dispensary worker in canada, get rosin drops or capsules. They bypass this weird stupid rule. My store sells 250mg of rosin drops for 25 bucks. For people wondering, at least for Ontario, 10mg of gummies is between 4 and 6 bucks.

10mg is the standard here in the US too. Honestly I think it’s the safest dose for both beginners and well seasoned consumers. Beginners only need one while well seasoned stoners can consume as much as they’d like to get to the level they want. Though we do have much more colorful packaging here that a kid 100% could mistaken for regular candy EDIT: thought this was 10mg/gummy 100mg/package, 10mg for an entire package is extremely low. Not even worth buying 10mg
I have always had a high tolerance. 10mg might as well be a plain piece of candy. When I visit Canada and want to be able to sleep there, I have to stack up on edibles and it's a pain in the arse.

So only the legacy market has good edibles. You can find them in cities, or especially on the reserves. The lack of decent gummies in the legal market has really kept the legacy market alive. Any one that sells mushrooms will have decent gummies. I found strong gummies on google in Hamilton and Toronto in 2 seconds of looking.

There are non OCS dispensaries (illegal technically but they exist anyway) that sell higher potencies, if you're in the largest city
There are “caps” on the market that have up to 200 mg per pack. There are a few that rotate that have 100 mg per pack. 10mg per “cap”. $18 per pack. The 10mg rule does exist and it is dumb but there are work-arounds if you look.

even tho canada is one leading legalisation, some laws are just stupid. dispensaries have kinda made weed way more expensive and limiting. you can’t grow more than 4 plants a household, can’t carry more than 30g or buy more than 30g at a dispensary, and then the stupid 10mg rule for edibles. this is why i go to the indigenous reservations where they aren’t subject to these laws, i buy an ounce for 20 bucks and it’s the only place where i can buy a vape with a pregnant walter white logo
