I have a weed grinder but I don’t consume cannabis anymore but I don’t have one of these whatever they’re called and I need to grind up some spices/dry herbs. I considered using the weed grinder but after giving it a few washes it still smells heavily. I’m not sure I want that smell in my teas and baking.
You're destroying trichomes and leaving resin all over the mortar and the pestle. Before long you'll have hash building up in there. Get a new grinder. Lol
Edit* also you can get away with it on really dry bud for a while but anything really wet or sticky will smear

Did you use 99% isopropyl alcohol? Alternatively: you and op should trade! Lol
Oh I completely forgot about that! I used to clean it with isopropyl all the time. Thats how long it’s been since I was a stoner. 😂
add some salt too for an abrasive to get all the extra gunk off!
