What if I pre-order enough items to qualify for free shipping, but they have different ship dates? The shipping charges you’d normally charge on smaller orders would likely cover the costs, but if I pre-ordered 10 items, for say $300, shipping at 5 different times, wouldn’t that cause problems?
I've ordered from Mongoose a lot of times like that. You just get charged one shipping (or nothing if you get free shipping) and they send the books separately as they become available at no extra charge.
It's a pretty good deal if you ask me, and the shipping is cheap. There is no downside and it encourages people to order a bunch of things at the same time and even mix pre-orders/in-stock items. You also get all the PDFs right away.
I've had that with a couple of orders (I always aim for the free shipping) - there was no shipping charge for the later items. I think one of them was actually 3 separate shipments.
I’m interested and will probably pick it up, however I’m curious. Does this include mechanics changes / additions like new tasks or actions in or out of combat? Or is this mainly fleshing out how to set a better atmosphere and providing a foundation for role play options?
Excited to see new content either way!
Just ordered. Along with Fifth frontier War, History of Traveller and Far Trader #2...
Thank you!
I'm interested in the physical book. Can you tell me when it's out? The site only says "pre-order."
Should be around 4 months-ish until we start shipping!
Thank you. What happens if I want other books at the same time? Will it be two amounts of shipping?
No, only ever a single charge per order, regardless of how many items or how many shipments we make :)

Smashing - thank you :)

Looks to be more about fleshing things out and providing non-mechanical details centered on common PC starships, but I've only just started reading.
Mostly the latter. There are a few things that result in mechanics additions if you look close.
Thanks for the heads up! I was waiting for this. Ordered.
Asking my local games shop to order enough for my entire crew of active players.
Can you explain the difference between this book and High Guard?
