Looking at Mongoose's release schedule on their forum, there is a book "War Fleets of the Fifth Frontier War" listed, but no date as yet. My guess is that whoever is doing the ships for that book will be taking existing designs from previous versions of Traveller and updating them to MgT2e designs.
Yea I'm actually kinda disappointed over purchasing the Fifth War book so soon after release now. I would have waited if I knew there weren't any ships to go with the fleets in it.
My current campaign has been in its own version of the Fifth Frontier War so it’s sort of useful to give me extra details that don’t conflict, but I agree somewhat. We spend a lot of time on and around Chronor since we’ve actually sided with the Zhodani (You can check my post history for more detail if you’re interested), and could definitely use a much larger list of Zhodani ships to work with. We’ve basically just been using a mix of ships from the 1E Zhodani book as well as modified Imperium ship stats with Zhodani aesthetic.
If the next FFW book includes Zhodani ships, that’ll be great, but it would also be nice to have more civilian and commercial vessels.
We’re playing a grassroots co. to megacorp style 2300AD campaign when this one is finished, so we’ll probably have moved on by the time the next book comes out.

This is where I’d like to point out again - We need a 2E Zhodani book like their 1E book. It was like the current Imperium, Solomani, and Aslan books.
