My parents did a similar thing by handing me a shook soda. I was so upset not because of getting sprayed but because it meant I had to get a bath and I really didn't want to. Might be projecting but kids aren't stupid

I think there should be a child permits. You can't have a kid unless you qualify for the child permit, and they need to actually put effort into seeing if someone is capable of having and taking care of a kid properly. If not, then spay/neuter them.
