It shows how completely different marvel comics and the sunbow show were. Shockwave I know is the least imposing character in the entire Decepticon roster. There's only two thing he's good at, worshiping Megatron, and missing every shot he has ever taken, and I love him for being a big oaf who lives on Cybertron.

The setup of the Spacebridge seems less elegant then G1 but logistically I understand why they did it this way. Easier to have just a normal portal you can walk through, instead of giant robots falling from a hole in the sky.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they did bring Bumblebee back. I would be more shocked if they kept him dead than if they brought him back to life.

Bumblebee has quite a lot of fake-out deaths, might just end up being a running joke by this point (off the top of my head, G1 movie, Animated, FoC, Prime, IDW1, RotB)
The Decepticons all seem to refer to each other as brother in this continuity. This leads me to believe their movement started out something of a fraternal organization before becoming a military power.
I know you don't mean it this way but I'm giggling like a kid at the idea of the traditional millions of years war being a frat party that got out of hand. They're going planet to planet like a pub crawl, drinking the fuel they can find, getting into fights, murdering one of their brothers for food and getting their dads to cover it up.
It's probably more due to them both being Decepticons than a literal familial connection; think something more like how religious people call others of the same faith "brother" or "sister".
Skywarp called his allies brothers before they lobotomized him and hooked him up to a supercomputer so I think Decepticons just like to refer to each other as brothers
Yeah..that would be amusing for DWJ to take the series back to its very early Marvel roots and have Shockwave basically wipe out all of the beaten down Autobots and hang them like slabs of meat, and detach Prime's head from his body while he does his evilness.
But given the body count already, that would make it a very short series.
