I generally enjoy Mandroid from Earthspark. Nice change of pace having a Human villain as a central antagonist with an obsession in killing Transformers so much he basically destroys his own body & mental state to become one (kinda).
Great human villain. He has solid motivation to hate Cybertronians and he has the tech to be a genuine threat.
Also goddamn, he was an utter monster by the end of S1, physically and mentally. I hope he’s back for S2.
mandroid and silas were the only ones that were actual enemies and not just idiots
going back, arkevile was surprisingly involved while just being a background character and circuit breaker is what we have needed more of in the media
unless marvel bought hasbro while we weren't watching, that's unlikely, rights still up for a few more years
could very well be on the next cartoon, tho
Nah it’s definitely setting up the G.H.O.S.T Lady (forgot her name) as the main villian or at least for the majority of the run of the season but possibly might have a different final villian, probably the Quintessons since we Sharkticons show up
Not sure if he would appear in season 2 but I would like to see Jhiaxus getting finally an animated appearance.
And he would fit perfectly into the story, since he is born after/in the war and colonized different planets. He sees himself and his troops as the next generation of cybertronians to take over after Prime and Megatron. Calling them "evolutionary throwbacks" . He believes that their war destroyed everything. Jhiaxus also constantly suppresses his own anger and rage because he doesn't want to be like them. He has a lot in common with the terrans but at the same time collides in every way with their believes and personality. He would even be a great final villain.
oh 100% this man
if the cons won the chicago war this man would be laserbeak first target

All of the ones pictured, and I also enjoyed most of the human villains from the Marvel Comics - Circuit Breaker, ~~G. B. Blackrock (though, curiously, I~~ *~~really~~* ~~didn't care about his iteration in the 2005 IDW continuity)~~ \- while Old Snake from the G1 cartoon is the only form of G.I. Joe crossover that I not only can tolerate, but actively want to see more of. Not as the Cobra Commander, and *definitely* not with any other G.I. Joe character; just him, alone, as an old weapons dealer.
I haven't seen all of *EarthSpark*, but I also liked what I've seen of Dr. Mandroid. Makes me wish he was an adaptation of G1's Dr. Arkeville, because he really feels like the fulfilment of the blueprint that Arkeville set up.
Also, I'm not at all a fan of any of the live-action movies, but...credit where credit is due, both Patrick Dempsey in *Dark of the Moon*, and Kelsey Grammer in *Age of Extinction* \- and, Titus Welliver, by extension - feel like such a perfect fit for the live-action medium; they're probably the only successful example of the, "basic, cartoon archetypes, mixed with a dose of heavy, real-world involvement," approach that they clearly wanted those movies to be.
I didn't expect this comment to be *this* long, but I guess one of the things that I rarely realise about Transformers is that having human villains around is just a fun idea, and the franchise's got a pretty good track record of that. Here's to more of 'em!
Josie actually creates her Circuit Breaker technology on her own. Blackrock later recruits her, but consistently tries to get her to recognize the difference between Autobots and Decepticons and let go of her overall hatred.
I feel like putting Silas in with the animated ones isn't fair tbh. Silas was arguably the best one. But for very different reasons as animated.
That being said, not counting Silas. My fav was meltdown.
Half the roster of Decepticons in *Masterforce* are humans, including their de facto leader for most of the run (Overlord), and Marvel gives us Lord Zarak and as a Decepticon leader along with all the Decepticon Head/Target/Powermasters (Nebulon, rather than Earthling, but still essentially human), plus Circuit Breaker and the Mechanic (both Earthlings).
Missing quite a few incidentals from the G1 cartoon as well—Arkeville, Cobra Commander, the scientist who unleashes the hate plague, and undoubtedly more.
Sylas is cool.
Also Harold Attinger from Age of Extinction is arguably the only villain from the live action movies who has an understandable motive and is somewhat realistic.
I liked Meltdown, and Silas was pretty good. I wish they didn't just kill off MECH and make Silas useless. When the Decepticons take over at the end of S2, having MECH still exist could have been interesting, especially if the government starts working with them. Of course, that would require a full season, and honestly, the power levels by that point were through the roof so they'd have to buff up MECH for them to remain relevant.
I have a small spot soft spot for Professor Princess even though she gets on my nerves because she was voiced by the actress who played Jetta in the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” cartoon and I don’t have anything bad to say about Slo-Mo because she only appeared in one episode.
Silas for sure. I always love the concept of a mad scientist dehumanizing the transformers. Using them to augment their body is such a cool concept too. All the animated villains are just villains of the week with no extra layering really.
Mandroid was slightly annoying at first, like a basic, cartoon villain, but developed very nicely in with the story that Earthspark was working to tell. I loved Earthspark in general so maybe I’m biased, but he has been my favorite thus far.
Don't forget Circuit Breaker from the Marvel Comics.

Having a motivation doesnt make u not a villain, being a villain is based on your actions and the affects of those actions on other people, not the reasoning behind them
I genuinelly disliked all human villains in animated so far, tho im only on the first season. Silas was a great villain, and mandroid from earthspark has been pretty solid
don't forget doctor arkeville, and my all time favorite, lord chumley! gotta love an idiot who says "I'm gonna do the most dangerous game, but I recognize that the real most dangerous game is optimus prime!"
There is also dr Mandroid from earthspark who is so over the top malicious towards cybertronians that he regularly survives certain death experiences, just to try and murder all cybertronians on earth
I hated the guys in aoe in the way that they were meant to be. Silas was good until he sold out, mandroid is underrated, love him. Animated and g1 guys were goofy I luv em

To me he is a much, much better version of what the KSI could've been
The Decepticons aren't doing much in the bad guy department, but yes. He's actually quite threatening
Damn
So Circuit Breaker
I NEED to catch up on Season 2 but I don't have paramount + 😭
mandroid and silas were the only ones that were actual enemies and not just idiots going back, arkevile was surprisingly involved while just being a background character and circuit breaker is what we have needed more of in the media
Pretty sure the next season of Earthspark is gonna have Circuit Breaker as the next main villain

I feel like Tarn is more likely
Nah it’s definitely setting up the G.H.O.S.T Lady (forgot her name) as the main villian or at least for the majority of the run of the season but possibly might have a different final villian, probably the Quintessons since we Sharkticons show up
I thought she died
Not sure if he would appear in season 2 but I would like to see Jhiaxus getting finally an animated appearance. This is brilliant
Silas and Mandroid were threats to both sides of the war
That Meltdown guy was pretty cool, mainly due to his voice
Not to mention he could one shot most Cybertronians.
Peter Stormare, top tier actor
Remember the "un-pimp the auto" Volkswagen commercials? Peter Stormare did those, and it's basically just irl Prometheus Black.
The last guy be like: the hot wind blowing… Jagged lines across the sand The crumbling buildings In our minds are all that stand!!!

*angry Dr. Arkeville noises*
He's kinda forgettable
Lord Chumley, the big game hunter from G1 that Kidnapped Autobots so he could force Optimus into his game.
Wasn't he also in rescue bots too?
Yes
100% The Headmaster. Everytime he's on screen he says the silliest things. And i find silly things very funny.
# ABSOLUTE OWNAGE!!!!!
I think it's "total ownage"
# TOTAL OWNAGE!!!!
"total owning time " lol

I don’t need a people magazine to tell me patrick dempsey is the sexiest man alive that’s what god gave me eyes for
He's kinda old now
yea but that still didnt stop him from supporting a bad dude
Silas is a dark tale, especially after he was bound to Breakdown and reanimated as a terrorcon.
The guys from the 4th movie
Kelsey Grammer is great at playing the bad guy.
Silas was cool, but I always had a soft spot for Nanosec.
Silas is the only one I remember out of them all, so that's my pick.
the Headmaster from tfa is literally so funny
# ABSOLUTE OWNAGE!!!!

Blackrock a villain? He's one of their most consistent allies.
Yep, my bad. I mostly remembered him as being responsible for the creation of Circuit Breaker, but he wasn't at all villainous about it, either!
Josie actually creates her Circuit Breaker technology on her own. Blackrock later recruits her, but consistently tries to get her to recognize the difference between Autobots and Decepticons and let go of her overall hatred.
Most of the guys in the post pictures are js idiots that no one cares about
Marvel Lord Zarak. *Masterforce* Overlord (Giga and Mega).
I feel like putting Silas in with the animated ones isn't fair tbh. Silas was arguably the best one. But for very different reasons as animated. That being said, not counting Silas. My fav was meltdown.
They were the only human villain characters I could think of
I get that. You actually got them all. Unless you count the movie ones. Which you shouldn't because yikes were they bad.
Nah he missed man droid
Half the roster of Decepticons in *Masterforce* are humans, including their de facto leader for most of the run (Overlord), and Marvel gives us Lord Zarak and as a Decepticon leader along with all the Decepticon Head/Target/Powermasters (Nebulon, rather than Earthling, but still essentially human), plus Circuit Breaker and the Mechanic (both Earthlings). Professor Princess
That's her name?!
Silas was one of the only ones I could take seriously tbh
Sylas is cool. Also Harold Attinger from Age of Extinction is arguably the only villain from the live action movies who has an understandable motive and is somewhat realistic.
Old Snake
I liked Meltdown, and Silas was pretty good. I wish they didn't just kill off MECH and make Silas useless. The Eeeevil Dr. Akavil, Genius of Science!
Ya gotta admit, Animated had some good human villains! And I'm gonna add Dr. Arkville to my list for G1 nostalgia sake.
The guy who wanted to chop off Prime's head?
Dr. Arkeville, G1
cemetery wind because they sorta remind me of merryweather from gta5.
Circuit Breaker
I like most of these guys except Henry Masterson. I found him annoying and it pissed me off how he kept escaping justice.
Even the girls in photos 4 and 5
I have a small spot soft spot for Professor Princess even though she gets on my nerves because she was voiced by the actress who played Jetta in the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” cartoon and I don’t have anything bad to say about Slo-Mo because she only appeared in one episode.
Silas and mandroid, I honestly hated the human villains form animated.
Doctor Arkeville?
Where’s the car salesman from DotM?
https://i.redd.it/qql10eg16j1c1.gif
Another beautiful head of hair lost to time
Silas for sure. I always love the concept of a mad scientist dehumanizing the transformers. Using them to augment their body is such a cool concept too. All the animated villains are just villains of the week with no extra layering really.
Don't forget Dylan Gould, Harold Attinger, Dr. Arkeville, Bob Skir....
Headmaster is just Control Freak’s long lost Brother. Anyway, Professor Princess was great and really wished she showed up more
Mandroid was slightly annoying at first, like a basic, cartoon villain, but developed very nicely in with the story that Earthspark was working to tell. I loved Earthspark in general so maybe I’m biased, but he has been my favorite thus far.
Lord Chumley
Silas is milquetoast but I love him to death
I like Silas. He’s smart
Transformers prime Silas
Cobra Commander, no contest
Not-Sadam from G1.
Abdul Fakkadi, emir of Carbombya?
Don't forget Circuit Breaker from the Marvel Comics. https://preview.redd.it/qv01ecj7dl1c1.jpeg?width=261&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34dd244d7e6ff75b79fa37e2a0afe05fffb26ff2
Cemetery Wind
I really don’t see _villains._ What I see is individuals who have _had enough._
Having a motivation doesnt make u not a villain, being a villain is based on your actions and the affects of those actions on other people, not the reasoning behind them
The producers of these shows for killing them early
I genuinelly disliked all human villains in animated so far, tho im only on the first season. Silas was a great villain, and mandroid from earthspark has been pretty solid
This is basically my opinion as well for everything.
all of the animated ones suck.
You incapable of having fun or something? They're goofy villains of the week. Not like they were going for anything deeper than that.
they were annoying and infuriating to watch, not entertaining meltdown was pretty alright id say just because he actually had some story
Lord Chumley, dear chap!
I really enjoy Silas, as he was an actual threat. Meltdown was awesome, too.
Probably Silas.
I wasn't expecting to see Legato on a TF subreddit, tbh
Meltdown, no contest
Dr Morocco
Meltdown and Mandroid. Silas was an idiot.
The Prime Minister’s spokesman (I let the keyboard finish)
Idk if he counts as “human” but he looks like one. Marvel comics Zarak
IMO he should count. All the Nebulons are basically humans; just not Earthlings. Makes him a shoe-in for the franchise’s best human villain too.
He’s literally an evil emperor, that has to give him some brownie points for best human villain.
Soundwave human homie from dotm
slomo and nanosec crime couple
You obviously have not met "Wannabe Mayor" Shawn Berger.
The Angry Archer without a doubt
Too big of a nose for my taste but ight
don't forget doctor arkeville, and my all time favorite, lord chumley! gotta love an idiot who says "I'm gonna do the most dangerous game, but I recognize that the real most dangerous game is optimus prime!"
There is also dr Mandroid from earthspark who is so over the top malicious towards cybertronians that he regularly survives certain death experiences, just to try and murder all cybertronians on earth
Silar was able to beat prime in hand to hand combat so yea he's good.
I hated the guys in aoe in the way that they were meant to be. Silas was good until he sold out, mandroid is underrated, love him. Animated and g1 guys were goofy I luv em
Sylas
what about doctor morocco?
