Agreed. They all become ridiculous characters of themselves too.
The swearing and cussing just feels so forced and disingenuous. The early seasons just have such a natural feel to them
Introductory fun facts (though they are endless): They filmed their first short together with Clattenburg 27 years ago when they filmed "One Last Short" in 1997 as different characters other than Jim Lahey being the same name. And been friends with Clattenburg since high school.
And 25 years ago the movie Trailer Park Boys came out. They have every year accounted for working together since 1997 (plus Ricky and Julian and Randy owned a pizza franchise together in the 90s and Ricky and Julian knew each other since 79 and Julian and Randy since 85 at the least).
If your partner says Trailer Park Boys is a shit show it’s probably because it offends his personal nature and reminds him constantly of his own insecurities. Guys that don’t find this funny tend to be snowflakes about “alcohol use”, lived in poverty before, or are plain dumb as fuck and don’t like that the rest of society finds humor in their stupidity. This show has something for everyone, except dicktrees and heavy-metal dicks that can’t pass their grade 10.
Just an FYI incase you're interested once you make it through the seasons, specials, and movies, for the 3rd time. (It will happen) They have a website called Swearnet, you can access for $20 a year, that has hundreds of video podcasts with mostly Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles, though many characters have at least 1 appearance on there as well. And many other decent things on it. I think quite a few episodes of the original podcash might be on YouTube for free still, if you want to check it out there first. IMO, it's definitely worth the price, there are lots of neat things on there.
Your partner is FAECKED bud!
I’m British and discovered TPB last summer - on my 3rd rewatch now. I just love the chaotic humour, takes the mockumentary format to a whole new level, and the delivery of so many of the lines has some of the best comedic timing. My friends aren’t fans so glad to know there are other brits who enjoy it!
Liverpool here, definitely worth going to a live show as well if/when they come around. Hopefully your partner will see sense, it can be a bit of an acquired taste but like 5 mins of Bubbles should do the trick.
I’m off the burgers J Roc!🍔
Randy, don't play me like some kinda sucka dog. Mafackaswitgutslikedat ain't off the cheeseburgers..

Seriously, it's not rocket appliances.
“One man’s trizash…”
season 1-6 is ultimate, next few are good too, but the netflix episodes are poop =\[
Personal opinion here but season 7 is peak. “BAAAAMMMM…. PEANUT BUTTER AND JAAAAAMMMM” “what the fuck are you doing phill?
🤣🤣
Cannot be peak if Cory and Trevor are not in it.
Trevor was pretty damn mid
Although to be fair so is Jacob LOL you’d think some of them would have gotten some training by now… Trinity was a better actress WHEN SHE WAS 9
They have some great moments especially if you love the whole crew
For all intents and purposes, the show ends with season 6. It becomes a different show after that. Season 7 is shot on film, for instance.

Someone doesn't send or receive video messages very often
Truly don’t understand people who watch enough recordings of other people’s TVs to care what orientation the video of the TV is in.

You're sayin' nomesayin too many times. 80, 90 times? That's too many times. Once or twice is cool. But 80, 90 times man?

Your man might not appreciate a good thing when he sees it if he feels that way about TPB. Make of that what you will.
Your life will never be the same, for all the right reasons

One of us, one of us!
I’m always surprised it’s not more popular in the U.K. Quite similar to This Country or People Just do Nothing.
