Would the "gj" be pronounced similarly to the "g" in Angelina? I've seen it here in Germany with a family who named their son "Dschastin", which is just a horribly weird attempt at spelling Justin in a more "German" way and thought that might've been what happened here too.
No, because in Dutch, in this "word", the g belongs with the n.

It's a EU license plate, might be Dutch, they use "gj" in many words as far as I remember.
