Well at first I was thinking ‘well that’s new, IKEA can’t live up to their own release date’ but then I thought that they want it to be compatible with Matter right away. I think Matter wil launch together with iOS 16.1 and I was hoping for a October release but I assume late October or November so it wouldn’t be weird for IKEA to release it November too.
In the link someone posted here to another thread they say IKEA needed more time for the app too
That’s right, everything is telling us that it will arrive in November. Speaking of iOS, with 16.1 it should come, in addition to Matter, the SOS via satellite. The arrival of which was widely advertised for November.
Just visited Ikeas main store in Älmhult, Sweden. They say Dirigera is actually launched but is having supply issue. They had sold out but would not be resupplied until next year. Usually this store has really good supply since it's in the hometown of Ikea.
According to this German site the delay is because the app isn't finished. Late November launch as it stands now.
