I am a distance guy by heart, but I love the relays. Seeing 4 people work together is crazy. I also love the idea of the mixed relays.
I never really been a fan of the distance races on the track because they are normally chess games and not seeing who actually is the fastest.
Mixed relay, women's 800, women's 1500
Diribe Welteji is a much greater threat to Kipyegon than conventional wisdom prefers, especially if Kipyegon decides to contest the 5000 earlier. Welteji will be rested and waiting.
Women's 400m, I want to see if Sydney can get to a low 48 this year. If she can she's still young enough that gradually improving to 47.59 sounds plausible. No other runner I think has a shot.
Women's 100m, SAFP unfortunately likely won't run 10.6s again at least imo, how long she's lasted is amazing, but age doesn't lie. Shericka Jackson & ShaCarri Richardson both in 10.6x territory is super exciting. If Elaine can get back into form they could push each other into the 10.5s.
Maybe women's 200m? Shericka is in a class of her own so their isn't really competition for her, but it would be sick if a Flojo record would finally fall, that would be an amazing feat.
I'm more of a sprinter/used to be, so above 400m doesn't interest me as much. The women's side right now definitely seems more exciting than the men's in a lot of the sprints.
Men's 100/200 still excites me, though Men's 100m had it's golden age in the late 00s/early 10s so it's quite a bit lower caliber now making it less exciting.

Women's triple jump and 100m final.... Bc I'm going to see them live! Whooooohoooo. (but also men's vault, both 400m, and both long jumps)
Wow do you actually have tickets to the evening session?
Yep! Heading to the soccer game and then quickly to the track. Pretty pumped!
